Ok Friday again and we were looking to some place on Yelp that would address our cravings for some decent Italian fare . And Tomatina was what we chose. A favorite of our many, many moons ago we were not too sure if they had maintained their standards and the overall stars did not help bolster our courage, but the better half concluded they are a local business and we ought to support them. So we placed the order online (15% discount for doing so is a wonderful deal), followed up with a phone to add an item and thy cheerily did so. And when we went in for pickup, they walked right up to our car , with mask and gloves as per COVID protocol, opened the door and very graciously placed it in our car. Their curb-side pickup is the best , we have experienced so far. Full marks to Tomatina for their professional and very courteous service in these pandemic times. Now on to the food we ordered : 1. For appetizers we shared the Seasonal special : SteamedMussels and Clams. The seafood was fresh, wholesome and the best part was the broth left over in which we dunked the garlic bead served with the dish until there was nothing except shells left. This was a 5-star quality dish! 2. For the main course we order my weakness : Chicken Fettuccine in Alfredo sauce. And it certainly was 5-star quality too! A dente pasta, fresh cream, the chicken cooked perfectly in the Alfredo sauce which was not too heavy, made it heavenly meal! 3. To appease our guilt of having a great but evidently caloric meal , we had ordered the Roasted Beet Salad : Yellow Beets cooked perfectly . Aragula, fresh and bitter and mixed greens with them with a vinaigrette that was just the perfect complement, closed off our meal perfectly! 4. But the better half had wanted to close the meal with a dessert and Tiramisu it was! A huge slab with dual layers and covered in cocoa powder, was just the right dessert after such a wonderful meal!! We will be back for more!!! But for now, a nap is the need of the hour :-)

Can I just say how absolutely bomb (amazing) my pasta was. I'm one for being simple when it comes to pasta. I simply asked him to make me a tomato cream kinda sauce with fettuccine and he said he'll take care of me and brought out THE BEST TOMATO CREAM BASED PASTA. Gosh I crave it even now and I'm just sulking in Canada with my snow. Food - the pasta, and appetizers we're just amazing. They were seriously so good and the chefs MUST know what they're doing. They were beautiful and simple and the taste matched it. God I even ordered a salad and it was one of the best Caesar salads I'd ever had and I've had A LOT of salads okay. 4/5 stars because unfortunately we tried the traditional Italian margherita pizza and I actually... Was not that great? Idk if it's just supposed to be like that but everyone's raving about a margherita pizza and I'm not... Despite not likeing meat and complex pizzas. I thought I'd love this one but i didn't. However I do HEAR the other pizzas are good but I can't say. Staff- absolutely warm, friendly and caring. They're professional, can recommend and the man who served us, was kinda short and middle aged?) Knew exactly what to do. Took very good care of us and checked on us just the right amount haha. Appearance. - the place is warm and cozy. Even though there was an enitre sports team eating there,we didn't mind. We sat at the bar stools corner in from of the windows and it didn't seem too loud and not too secluded. Even while being in a corner we we're well served. The kitchen has a open wrap around layout where you can see most of the chefs and the big pizza oven. Price was not that high at all and was worth the bites.

Our first time coming to Tomatina, a friend rave about this restaurant so we decided to try it out as a family night out. We came in on a Sunday night, a very relax atmosphere and got seated right away. Our waiter was very outgoing and recommended a few special dishes and was patient in our ordering process since it was our first time. We got the all meats pizza for my husband, I think it would had been enough for the 2 adults and 2 kids. The pizza was really good, it had a nice texture and homemade taste. It wasn't oily as others I have try. Pizza is made right infront there kitchen open concept. My kids got macaroni (so many options and they want same thing I got at home) well, I ended tasting the macaroni and to my surprise, it was way better than the box. Our waiter said that he gets adults ordering macaroni too.. I got the Chicken Marsala and to my surprise I almost finished my plate if it wasn't for there popular oil bread w. Tomatoe sauce on the side. Ofcourse my favorite dish was the dessert, I got the strawberry tart w. Icecream... best thing ever! Not your typical dessert. Most reviewers complain about prices but to me the food has a different, more natural taste than other restaurants. I came out of the restaurant feeling satisfy not stuffed as when I finish a big meal. There portions are very generous too, we ended up bring the pizza home. I will definitely go back and try something different from the menu, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

They have excellent special offers sometimes weekends & weekday like today they 20% off on their pizza which is a good deal & since we had purchased their egift card worth 100$ online (with no expiration) on which we got 25$ free exclusive gift coupon we thought of using it . We placed an online order for Large Garden Pizza - mozzarella, tomato garlic purée , spinach, mushrooms, kalamatas olives, red bell pepper, red onions & oregano we added roasted chicken to the pizza ($3.95) Pizza was as always fantastic very light & freshly made we could taste all the veggies. I had some issue while putting the online order so called in & got help after which it was smooth. When we reached our order was ready & the lady at the counter processed our gift card coupon so in the end we paid somewhere close to 6 bucks (after the discount & gift coupon)which was a pretty good deal. ( 30.25+3.95 = 34.20 + tax - 20 % - 25$) We love their seasonal menus plus regular menu . We have tried various dishes like Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Shrimp Pomodoro , roasted salmon, tomatina garlic rolls which are very addictive mostly all their pizza which are excellent & light. We always keep an eye for their specials it's worth it !!! Their staff is very attentive & friendly especially the lady at the counter she manages phone order, Togo orders always with a smile & always very helpful. That's the reason we love coming here for dine in & take out.

I was here with my friend to celebrate her birthday. We decided to come here so that after dinner we can go and watch a movie at AMC. We were seated at the booth which we asked for. Since the time was limited we decided to give our order - brussel sprouts, for appetizers, salmon fry as main entree and chocolate tiramisu for dessert. Before all that we ordered red wine. After selecting between two samples the Pinot tasted good. The service is great and I was surprised when the salmon came with fresh cheese grated on top of it. I do not like cheese and hence I had to tell the server. He was nice and took it and got me the order without cheese. Lessons learned, don't assume and call it out at the beginning itself to be safe. We enjoyed our dinner, the brussel sprouts was delicious and with dry fruits and dried cranberries it tasted awesome. The tiramisu cake was so delicious we both finished it quickly in no time. The vibe was cool and quiet inside the restaurant. It seemed like other servers were busy packing takeout food items. It was good to experience here. I will recommend this place for sure.

Venturing into a new dining spot that caters to your dietary preferences can be a pleasant surprise. Intrigued by its vegetarian options for Italian cuisine, you decided to give it a try. Beginning your culinary journey with garlic knots, you were met with a burst of flavor, although slightly oily and buttery, they left a satisfying taste. Moving on to the main course, you opted for two customized pasta dishes: penne pesto with cream and veggies, and ravioli with vodka sauce. Each dish surpassed expectations, boasting perfectly cooked pasta enveloped in creamy sauces that tantalized your taste buds. The service, swift and attentive, added to the overall positive experience, while the reasonable pricing made it a value-for-money proposition. In conclusion, if you're seeking delectable Italian fare at an affordable price point, this establishment comes highly recommended. Its flavorful offerings and accommodating menu options ensure a delightful dining experience for all.
