Horrible experience: We placed an 60.00 order to pickup. I arrived to pickup our order to find out half of our items wasn't even in the bags. If I had not checked we would have not had our order. Well there computer wasn't working. I gave my credit card to pay, the woman didn't return for approx. 15 minutes, I asked is there a problem, my credit card is fine. She ignore me. Finally after paying more attention to the cash register I noticed 3 people standing around the register hearing someone say we have to reboot the system. Then somebody was on the phone for 15 minutes trying to get the system back up. It was finally about 30 minutes before I finally said I can't wait all night for your system. The MGR. had the gull to say "well if you had cash we wouldn't have this problem." REALLY, I couldn't believe his statement in todays day and age. First off they didn't tell me they only accept cash because there system is a WINDOWS 95 system. Our rolls would have been soggy & the hot items, soup, chicken would have cold. I Explained I have a 50.00 bill on me. I can pay that and come back tomorrow for the difference. He/MGR, grabbed the bags and said no money no food. REALLY. This wasn't my problem. I will never ever go there again. They don't care about there customers. The food on people's plate didn't look very good. There loss, not mine....
Read moreWe moved to SCV 3 years ago from LA (born and raised) and after trying every sushi spot in town, the old favorite in Stevens Ranch, the new trendy place in Plum Canton., etc, etc… Achita is easily the best QUALITY SUSHI in Santa Clarita.
We don’t order rolls, just nigiri! Piece by Piece the fish is better, the ration of rice, the rice, everything is just better and taste better from a quality stand point.
If you just want a cheap sushi dinner go to Ralph’s. But people that actually appreciate quality sushi, should stop in.
Thank god we found this place, we stopped eating sushi in SCV after thinking the place in plum canyon was as good as it gets.
This is what we ordered : Hamachi (yellow tail) Uni (sea urchin) Jumbo Scallop Unagi (fresh water el) Ikura (salmon eggs) Albacore Blue crab hand rolls Spicy Tina hand rolls Salmon skin hand...
Read moreBest sushi in the area. I moved here from San Francisco and after trying almost every sushi place around here, I had pretty much given up to find a quality place that doesn't make giant rolls with insane amounts of rice and nothing but disgusting imitation crab mix inside. I was so excited when I saw the Achita menu with scallop sashimi and ankimo among other fresh fish options. We ordered 10 items from the menu and everything was so delicious and fresh. Most rolls feature fresh fish inside and out, which is what sushi really should be. This is our go-to sushi place...
