Wrote a bad review a few months ago based on poor service. Gave them another shot and received even worse service than I did when I wrote the original review. Crazy.
Came in around 815 and they were not busy customer wise. A few guys were changing out some of the stations on the order line. I stood as first online for approximately five minutes and several employees came within a few inches of me and didn’t so much as even say hello, let alone let me know if someone would be right with me. They didn’t even look up. What are these people doing working in customer service if they’re terrible at it?! So I went to the only employee at the stations down by the cash register, and I told him that I’ve been standing there for a while and multiple employees have walked by me and not even acknowledge me. A line of 6 people had formed behind me at this point too. All he said was “yeah we’re pretty busy”. Again, no apology. Also, No, they weren’t busy. There was a family of five sitting by the drinks and two emo teenagers sitting at another table by the door. Even if they were busy, it cost no time to greet someone snd give a quick “sorry, we’ll be right with you!”
Anyways, I asked for a manager and aired my grievance to him which to his credit he apologized for. Meanwhile, the guy I first complained to, huddled up with several other employees, obviously trash about me me as they all stared in my direction. One of whom was a white female with a short blonde pixie cut hair who cashed me out. Although, despite me telling her several times that I wanted chocolate milk and kids chips for the kids meal, she still messed it up several times. She failed to put either of these items in the bag after I told her. After she closed it up and gave it to me as if we were done, I had to ask her third time for the kids chip and chocolate milk. She then handed me a small water cup and again I had to tell her it was chocolate milk.
I suspect she was being difficult on purpose based on the other employee huddling up with her and trash talking me although it’s entirely possible she’s just very bad at her job like 95% of the other people who work here. Entire location should have almost all employees terminated, and swapped out. Consistently bad service since the day they open their doors. They do have one manager who’s really good though. Don’t know his name. Chris maybe? Hispanic guy. let’s smiling. This place doesn’t deserve him. I however will never return here again. I’ll go NHR from here out. So sick of this generation of worthless employees. Get your...
Read moreLet me paint a picture: I walk into Chipotle, hungry and optimistic. There’s one girl ahead of me, and we both stand around awkwardly waiting for someone anyone to start taking orders. After what felt like a full lunar cycle, an employee finally shuffles over and begins helping her. The moment the girl swipes her card, the credit card machine freezes. Great.
Now here’s where things start to spiral: the same employee, fully aware that the card reader is down... decides to go ahead and start my order anyway. Burrito bowl gets made, all is seemingly well… until I get to the register and she hits me with a “Yeah, sorry… the other girl’s card didn’t even work. The machine’s still frozen. Do you have cash?”
I don’t carry cash. It’s 2025. Then she says, “Well, do you have the Chipotle app? Because the only way you can pay is through that.” So let me get this straight: I’m supposed to stop, download your app, create an account, link a card, reorder the meal thats sitting in front of me, possibly verify my blood type... and that’s the only solution? Meanwhile, the first girl who froze the machine apparently got to walk away with her food. So I get punished for your tech issue, but she gets lunch? Make it make sense.
The only employee who seemed remotely competent was on the phone with a manager who finally told them to stop taking orders until the issue was fixed. Great timing. A little late for that, considering my food? Already made. My stomach? Still empty. My dignity? Leaving the chat.
What should’ve happened? Comp the meal. Apologize. A coupon. Something. Instead, they let me walk out empty-handed after wasting my time and testing my patience.
Come for the burrito, stay for the disappointment. Thanks for...
Read moreI’m a chipotle regular and I’ve had some really subpar orders here. Tonight I must say has been the worst. The order was delivered through a third-party delivery app. First, the kids quesadilla aluminum foil was cooked into the actual quesadilla. Meaning it was ruined. Second, my double chicken bowl was not double chicken and largely inflated with an unnecessary and unusual amount of rice. It was flavorless and disgusting. Today, the guacamole was actually decent where normally it barely passes as guac.
I tend to go earlier in the day near when they first open and around that time there’s usually a crew that seems to be ending their shift and going home. I assume they’ve been working since early in the morning getting things ready for the day although I’m not positive. Anyways, I bring this up because this crew is incredibly Loud and unprofessional. They are usually hanging out near the fountain drinks occupying five or six of the seats there, talking loudly, cursing, and just generally displaying unprofessional demeanor while talking.
This is my experience at this location more times than not. Any chance I get I will go to the chipotle on Newhall Ranch Road as it is superior in both food quality and customer service over the one on Bouquet. I remember when this location first opened and it was a complete disaster. Everything was wrong, the employees were worthless, and the food was often not made right. Growing pains for a new franchise. Then for a while, it had Improved. Now it seems it’s back to when it first opened. Terrible food and...
