Up here in the Santa Clarita Valley restaurants seem to be opening and closing every day...so when an upscale spot with great drinks and lots of options for vegetarians comes along, it's a big deal! Enter Finney's Crafthouse...a new location for an established chain with lots of style, options, and deliciousness...and our fingers are crossed that they'll be able to stick around!
We arrived without a reservation on a Friday night so had to wait a little while for a table...but the wait wasn't too long and we were seated at a high top near the bar. (The bar, at least when we were there, didn't have open seating like some restaurant bars are...) It's okay, we were taken to our table, had a very friendly server (who rolled with all my ridiculous jokes) and made us feel welcome.
I ordered the Smoke Show cocktail which was exactly that...brought to the table under a glass dome filled with smoke to a fun reveal as they lifted the dome and the smoke dissipated. It wasn't all a show either, the drink itself was tasty and I was quite happy by the time I got through it.
Our kid had an Impossible Burger and Fries. Thanks Finney's for having this as an option for us vegetarians! That and the Impossible Taco Salad I had made us feel like first class dining citizens.
Our kid also thought the Raspberry lemonade he had was one of the best things he's ever drank.
We're definitely happy to have Finney's up here...it's a great place with lots for us to choose from with out specific diets, as well as more than plenty for...

My family ate at this location today and just WOW!! Everything was so delicious! We used to go to the Burbank location all the time when we lived in that area so we were so excited when we found out we were going to have one in SCV! This was just as good as the Burbank location and honestly, even BETTER! Our waiter today was so friendly and was always checking in on us. Shout out to the redheaded bearded jolly guy! The food came out quick and every single person who dropped off our food asked if we needed anything, even food runners. The chicken and waffle bites…. Holy cow….everything was so yummy. Also I love deviled eggs and those things are addicting. We got a bunch of apps and my little one had the kids pizza and berries. All the food was so fresh and from the moment we walked in the restaurant to the moment we left we were greeted by smiling faces and great attitudes. People who actually liked working there. It was refreshing! I used to be in the service industry and let me tell you, you can tell this place is very well ran. Bravo manager! The atmosphere is very cool too. It’s modern and has a total chill vibe. Great for a fun date night or families. Also their drink menu rocks. My husband got a cider which he loved and I got wine because you can’t go wrong there. This is going to be our new favorite spot and we will be regulars. Highly recommend if you want delicious food, great service and a cool atmosphere! So happy this place is in SCV!...

WE WAITED 1 HOUR AND 10 MINUTES FOR OUR FOOD. 5 of had to wait 30 minutes too enter which wasn’t that bad but then had too wait 40 minutes for our food, outrageous! I understand this is a new restaurant with a lot of customers but you’ve got to manage little better. The max I would personally wait is 45 minutes. Anyway the music was WAY TOO LOUD with the noise of the waiters and other customers talking you cannot add music that loud. Maybe a lower the volume a little and it might be fine. The food was ok but the chicken sandwich wasn’t crunchy at all but it was really spicy which I admire. The pizza was good too but the dough was not crunchy. The cheesesteak egg rolls were really good and had no complains. The food was surprisingly cheap so that’s also a positive thing.I don’t mean too ruin your business and stuff but I hope when I come back in 2-3 months most things of the complaints would be gone. A will delete this review and write a better one if done. Again, I hope your business becomes an amazing restaurant but there are some adjustments needed. I hope the owner sees this review and responds
Edit : I said I will be coming here again but I updated this a little late, food was great, waiting time was a little shorter but still too long, and the atmosphere was fine I think they turned down the music. Way better then last time and...
