The support this shop has received is so sweet to see! Local SCV pullin through.
Being here is always fun. On weekends there’s always a line, but it moves fast. It can take a while to get your drink but it’s worth the wait. Staff are friendly. Vibes are good. Drinks are delicious. Was surprised by the depth of flavor in the espresso, which shines in their cappuccinos. Their signature raspberry honey is delicious and they individually whisk their matcha which is really important! And almost nowhere in scv takes the time to do.
Not much of a place to sit with friends or to hole up and study— very few seats, and a small counter with barstools, so it’s more grab and go. But in the moments you’re there, it’s a welcoming environment, often full of people from all different seasons of life.

I knew I would not be able to work in this coffee house because of the noise. But I went inside the coffeehouse anyway to check out the scene. You could hear the noise at 70% of volume.
I don’t know how you can have a coffee house in this environment. People come there to talk and visit…and some come to write.

Read moreI don’t wanna bring the rating of this place down but I did have a few comments I wanted to add so that the service team can get better.
First, the person working was consistently touching their hair / face while handling food which was concerning to me bc they didn’t wear gloves.
Second, I ordered a single double shot: to go…. Granted the person was the only person working and had a couple of other items to process (none of them on the espresso machine) but it’s about the easiest thing you can order & takes maybe about 20 seconds to set up and run, and then another 30 ish second to pull and then it’s done you and then the cup. It is the kind of order that - given my own long history working in the coffee world - you’d want to immediately set up and get out and into...
