The high school girl that work here are attentive but the customer service isn't more than that. Feel rushed at times as they seem to want to get you in and out which puts pressure on you to know what you want when you get there. Instead of feeling like you're about to enjoy a treat, you might as well be going to the car dealership to get your oil changed -- it's very transactional as their is no joy in the greeting or providing you information on the different products or flavors.
Also, I feel like the large custard isn't a large. The Rita's in San Juan Capistrano definitely provided more in both custard and customer service. I'm aiming these are franchises which may explain the difference as the individual that served us at SJC seemed to also be the owner.

I've visited this location 3 times and 2 of those times the employees seemed to rush our group out. They looked like they didn't want to be there. Also they didn't make the ice cream look anything like the pictures advertised. My Apple Pie Sunday was 95% apple topping and only 5% ice cream! My bf's mother, who'd never been there before and I wanted to introduce to the franchise, felt like she was being rushed to leave, and once again the employees didn't make her order look anything like the...

Spent $7 for two small swirls and neither I or my girlfriend could even get through a quarter of our cones. Both ended up in the trash down the street. The custard had an almost gummy texture, reminiscent of cheap whipped cream from a supermarket cake. The flavor of the vanilla was non existent and the custard itself didn't even feel cold.
Maybe something was off with machine but it's unlikely we'll ever...
