I have been to this location long enough to know that at THIS particular location, you are gonna get "A" team service in the morning (open-2:00pm) and the "D/F" team in the evenings and night (2:00pm- close). JUST 35 min ago I went inside this restaurant to order quick dinner for my commute home. I was the only customer in line at the time. It took 10min for the "cashier" who doubled as the manager took my order. I ordered the homestyle chicken sandwich combo "dropped fresh" with cheese. 5 min later i recieve the meal. I inspect the contents. Fries are cold- which is typical for shifts during this time of the day at this location. I inspect the chicken sandwich, and it has no cheese. I inform the manager doubled as the cashier that I asked for chicken to be dropped fresh with cheese. He bypasses the trash and takes burger to back of Kitchen. He returns 1min later with the same sandwich in which he took a cold slice of unmelted sandwich cheese which sat on top of cold chicken. I told the manager that I was not going to accept the sandwich because it was not fresh. He attempted to protest-then i picked up the entire piece of sliced cheese off the sandwich and was annoyed when I had to explain to him that if the chicken was fresh, the cheese would've melted onto the hot piece of meat sent the sandwich back once more. Cashier/manager bypassed the trash and this time returned 3min later with the same sandwich, this time with a barely warmed over piece of cheese over the same piece of chicken. I looked at the manager and before I could say anything he said, "Is the cheese melted enough?" Which was a dumb question because if I had received a fresh dropped chicken as requested 3 times, he wouldn't have had to ask about melted cheese. In addition to that, after all the back And forth, he didn't have sense enough to realize he wasted more time being lazy and unprofessional, than if he just would have dropped the chicken fresh. No one wants to eat old food, even if it is at a fast food restaurant. He didn't even offer to replace the fries that went cold throughout this whole fiasco. I worked 3 years for Wendy's in the past. I know how long the wait is for fresh chicken and what a manager role is when dealing with a customer. Maybe he shouldn't been operating the register. Maybe he should have been training the woman on the grill serving old chicken out the drawer. Teach her what FRESH is. That's the image Wendy's tryna sell.. Right? Much better service before 2pm though. Perhaps my rating would've been 4 stars had I went before the "D" team...
Read moreUpdate. Second visit was less than stellar. Both sandwiches were hot but clearly by microwave and definitely old. My first visit was outstanding but I have to remove a star due to freshness. This was about a quarter to 10 am so my guess is, they tend to stop making fresh sandwiches near this time and nuke what they have under a burner. Either way, my order was not good the second time. I'm keeping the fourth star for the service, drive-thru, which was great.
I was thoroughly impressed with a breakfast. I got the number eight combo which was a sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant. It was very good. Service was quick. Server at the window was polite and the order was done correctly which is not a given for a fast food restaurant...
Read moreListen, food here is fine, no issues. Service is the problem, ESPECIALLY when it comes to including all the items you've ordered. I count 5-10 times at least that I've used either drive thru or dine in w/takeout, got in my car and arrived at home and was missing 1 or 2 items I ordered and paid for. I am now to the point that I will not return to this location until dining in is allowed and I can go to the counter and get whatever item they forgot. This is the most frustrating thing, to get home and to be missing fries or frosty or a burger or drink. DON'T LEAVE UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED ALL THE ITEMS...
