I don’t always get petty, but here goes. Not only does the digital menu switch from Salads to fried food advertisements and newest specials, forcing one who may have wanted a salad to have to wait nearly 30 seconds for the salads to come back around. (Worst marketing decision ever, corporate!)
I didn’t have anyone behind me so I asked for “a minute” to look at the menu/ad frenzy. For the aforementioned reasons I took around 2min to decide what I wanted. When I pulled near the window, the dude was holding up his hand to stop me short of the window about 3-4 ft. He seemed frustrated when I didn’t get his message in time. He went on in a snippy tone about how when I “take 3min” to decide on my order, that they have to stop people before the window. If this doesn’t make any sense to you it’s because it is nonsense. Long story short, they handed me wrong food so I had to return, and the food still wasn’t very fresh. On another occasion breakfast sandwiches were not very warm at all. Experiences like this make me reconsider BK all together. Maybe they just aren’t what...
Read moreThey are apparently very understaffed. Have had them close right in my face during the middle of the day twice in the same week. First time I had been in the drive thru for at least five minutes, after several people ordered I was finally second in line, and a man came out and put cones in front of my car blocking the drive thru and said "we're closing". Second time, the drive thru was blocked off but customers were inside as I was pulling into the parking lot, as I was exiting my vehicle apparently the last customer had exited the building and the employee locked the door as I was walking up. The female employee outside didn't even know they were closing, she was surprised when I asked why the door was locked. I get being short staffed, but when someone has already been in line for some time, serve them before closing. Maybe part of the reason they have no employees is because the management doesn't know how to...
Read moreVery bad drive through experience. First time, for sure, last time too.
I was the only car at the order station, the one taking order said he needed "1" minute, and I waited for around 5-10 minutes before I could order. Not too bad, just worse than average.
The next issue is kind of surprising. I ordered 3 sandwiches, and clearly expressed that, for one of them, no tomato. When picking it up, I got only 1 sandwich. When asking why, the cashier just said that because I ordered one. I told him, I ordered 3, just no tomato for 1 of them, and I have dash cam, we can check how I ordered if needed. He just said "no, you ordered one". It feels kind of very rude.
Usually, I go to In and Out for takeout burgers, and really, similar things never happened once. Not sure if Burger King is in general worse, or only this one, but the experience was awful enough for me to avoid this...
