Cherri's Donuts — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

I have been coming here for years and as a self proclaimed donut connoisseur, I would always recommend this place. However, last week I went in to get close to a dozen donuts ( ended up with 9 ) ........ I've known the owners for years( very nice people) and this young girl ( say early 20's helped me ( may have been the daughter, I've also seen the son work there). She could not get my order right (4 times to get it right and still left out one donut that I wanted).... Then she tried jamming 9 donuts in a little bag, when I realized she had jammed the nine donuts tightly in this bag , I asked her nicely to put them in a box . I was very nice to her, however, she was frustrated and snapped back at me. I let it go and paid 9.90 for my donuts. I just love this place and went my merry way looking forward to the treats inside. As I'm going down the road at about 7:30 am into LA traffic ( I went early hoping to get the freshly made donuts that morning). I took out my favorite ( orange glazed) ...... to my dismay it was hard as a rock( very stale). I threw it in my trash bag, grabbed another and the same. Got to my destination and every donut with the exception of one was stale and old. This practice of taking day old donuts to the back of the fresh donut tray and stuffing them into customer boxes / bags has always bothered me. I have never in the years I've been going there had a bad donut and get 8 out of nine stale donuts has soured me towards this place. Now the attitude of the young girl who helped me , who tried stuffing 9 donuts into a small bag ( I was wondering why they did not smoosh down, they were hard as a rock) weighed heavily as I bit into dry stale hard donuts. I may go down and talk to the father ( who was not there that morning) and let him know about it (he is one the nicest person I have met) and advise him of this horrid business practice used by many businesses. I hope he reads this review because I'm not sure he's aware that the young personnel is using this practice. Why take the chance of losing a lifelong customer by selling them stale day old donuts !? Never made...

Easily without a doubt the most kind, respectful, appreciative donut shop in the area and has been for anyone who’s a resident to the area & a frequent customer throughout the years past. I’ve been a repeat customer for over 10 years and over the 10 year period it has not loss its touch one bit and has always met customer satisfaction based just souly off the quality of the product being sold and the customer service being offered to the customers by the owners perfectly to a T ! Definitely getting your moneys worth every time you visit this franchise for a fact, without any hesitation of thinking your not. Most definitely would recommend anyone who has not yet been blessed with tasting the delicious goods & top quality customer service that are produced at this...

I was never a fan of donuts until I went to Cherri's Donuts- that's how great they are! They have extremely delicious donuts and many other food, drinks, treats, and lotto tickets avaliable, 24/7. Everything is priced reasonably low! They make their donuts TWICE daily so that they always have the freshest donuts possible for all of their many customers! They have a very hard-working friendly staff, and keep everything very clean at all times! You can even pay them in advance if you need your order to be ready for you at a specific time! Or if you simply have a large order that needs to be fulfilled, or if you need them to put a certain amount of hold for you. I HIGHLY recommend...
