On the plus side: I love the aesthetic and look of their patio and interior very clean and cozy, super inviting. The menu is extensive for being such a small space lots of options. Could improve: I ordered the combo which is like the charcuterie but with a couple extras, wishing there was crackers or bread or something and not just cheese and meat on the plate. The pâté was missing and it was $20, pretty expensive for some fig jelly cheese and nuts. Also the walnuts are stale sadly, which is common whenever I order something with nuts around town :( check your nuts before serving … one of my cheese slices was rind not actual cheese. :( The customer service was pretty sad, no smiles, pretty cold, I asked a question about the menu and the girl said “read the menu I don’t know”. Read moreWow! To set the scene: weary from driving, hiking, and gallery hopping, we had a certain itch…. Espresso, proper, super rad espresso, and cheese. Then I thought some charcuterie… I found myself longing for a French café in the middle of Santa Feb(no dis… just unexpected based on other spots)… I thought to myself no way it was possible… I looked to my left and around the corner I see a sign that says café de Artiste…We continued and found a charming café with patio seating. Hopes high we went in and boom there it was a cheese plate, and a charcuterie plate… I ordered my coffee and I overheard a gentleman who sounded French… When I ordered, he told the barista he would make the plates… He brought them out himself… He was warm and inviting, setting in front of us two perfect plates. Proper afternoon dining!! So rad!! Please go there. Please go there often. Please...
Read moreNOT family friendly. NOT Hispanic friendly. We had not even ordered. We were sitting and waiting for the rest of our party to come. My 1 year old nephew made a little noise as he was waving to the people next to us (as babies often do) and we were approached by the waiter and asked "is your baby usually loud?" And then the waiter told us that if the baby is loud we should move and sit outside. It was not a warm day, it was very windy and not weather fit for a baby. There was also only one other table there and they were waving back at my nephew and did not complain. We felt very unwelcome. We immediately left and went somewhere else. Very classless and inconsiderate. Do better to accommodate the local families and not just tourist...
