Classic Pizza — Restaurant in Santa Monica

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with how my recent order was handled. I wish I could give zero stars for this experience.

You claim that both orders were prepared and handed over to the Uber Eats driver — that is simply not true. When the driver arrived, he only had one and a half orders — and by that, I mean the order wasn’t even complete. The pizza was missing, and I had to contact Uber Eats to request a refund of $17, which was confirmed and processed thanks to the driver’s help.

Additionally, I was charged for a duplicate order totaling $59.90. Your staff member, Hugo, even called me when the two orders appeared on your end. He confirmed that it was only supposed to be one order, said he would fix it, and hung up before I could ask any further questions. Despite this, nothing has been done on your end to resolve the issue.

On top of that, I’ve now been charged two separate $9 fees without explanation. If those were tips for your so-called “two orders,” let me be very clear: you absolutely did not earn them.

I am not interested in your coupon — I want my money refunded for the duplicate order that was never prepared, never delivered, and clearly acknowledged by your own staff.

You work with Uber Eats, so you share responsibility when things go wrong. You don’t get to shift the blame. Lying about what happened and handing out cheap coupons instead of taking real accountability is unacceptable.

You’ve lost my trust, and you’ve lost a customer — not just from me, but from anyone I can share this...

I pass by this pozza place every single day on my way to take my school bus back to the yard, I always say I'm going to stop amd try it out but there's never any parking to park my bus. So today I had craving for pizza and said I'm going to stop amd get a slice. I was lucky enough to find a park, so I went inside and ordered 2 slices of chicken with green bell peppers and red onions, and a slice of pepperoni and a slice of chicken and bacon for my friend. The lady at the counter was very friendly and the place looked clean. It didnt take long to get my order which was a plus cause I didn't want to get caught up in too much traffic. But when I got on my bus I tasted a slice and let me just tell you it was soooo good! The pozza was so light and was not over powered with cheese I didn't feel heavy after eating the slice either. One of the best pizzas I've ever had! When I got back to the bus yard I gave my friend her pizza which was still hot after being in traffic for over an hour! She tasted the pizza and said omg this pizza is bomb! Lol. Thanks for the amazing pizza! I would definitely take that drive to get this...

My family is truly happy we found this place after living here for 9 years...better late than never. The pizza has a delicious classic crust. The cheese is good quality unlike waxy cheeses elsewhere so if you love papa johns or dominoes, stay away. The sauce is just right and also has classic taste. Toppings offered is probably the biggest plus. Huge selection! Nowhere else can you get potatoes which tastes absolutely amazing with sun dried tomatoes and garlic. They mince garlic just right that it melts away in your mouth. Delivery is always fast and at $0.99 delivery fee...how can you beat that?

Negative comments seem to be with those ordering or dealing with store via telephone. I’ve ordered online approx 6-7 times in 3 months and I haven’t had an issue. Take a chance and try a few different variations and order at different times. I noticed sometimes late at night pizza is rushed so it may not be as well done (as in the bake) compared to ordering earlier but still no complaints here.
