I was excited to come here. The blond girl with the long hair hates her life. We ordered fried pickles ($9) and were told it came with 1 ranch sauce. I asked for one special sauce in addition. All of the sudden our bill is $15 and when I asked about it she said the sauces were $2 each which is crazy but she also said it came with a ranch. She gave me a ton of additude about it and then said she would give me a receipt. I look at the receipt and I'm being charged $2 for the ranch that is "included" and another $2.00 for the other sauce. These sauces come in 1 oz containers and are half full. I continued to inquire when she walks away and tells some lady "go give her a refund." The lady comes over and gives us a refund on the sauces and is friendly but when the angry blond girl who appears to hate her job brought out the pickles she was very rude again. The pickles were good but the customer service lacks specifically with the angry blond girl. You're serving up fried food for likely minimum wage. If you don't like what you're doing, change your life. Or don't work with the general public if you hate people. You're working at a cool stand on a beautiful beach. It literally could be so much worse.

There is a QR code on their menu that allows you to not stand in line and place your order immediately—we took this route and wish we wouldn’t have. I walked up to the window when the time on the order confirmation said it would be ready and saw a bag with my name on it but was told that wasn’t my order and I would have received a text message. We sat and waited for another 20 minutes, when I walked back up to the window I asked if they could please check the order sitting in the bag as I could see it had my name and order number. The same staff member said “this has been sitting here for a while” and when I asked if they could remake the order she handed me the bag and said “no you’d have to place a new order and this is still kind of warm” ….. I ended up taking the food anyways as we weren’t trying to place and pay for another order. Then, I lifted up my burger to see hair…super gross and overall disappointing. TLDR; order at the window, don’t use the QR code and check for hair before eating your food.

Seen this place recommended all over social media so wanted to give it a try! The food was phenomenal, hot, and fresh! The service was eh… not the best. The lady taking the order and the lady at the pickup spot were not very nice or helpful basically rushing us to order and didn’t give any suggestions or anything.. the people behind us in line had to. When we picked up the food and gave the lady the buzzer, she said “ we only have the shakes” and walked off and took the buzzer so i was confused and had to stand there longer waiting on the food, its be nice to have some enthusiasm around that place!! Especially with probably so many travelers coming and going! But beautiful spot and great seating. We got the confetti shake and a cookies and cream shake (i think), fried pickles, fried chicken sandwich, and a cheeseburger. It was like 70 something dollars just for the 5 things and not so great service at least the service and atmosphere was worth it 🫠

I don't write reviews often but I had to tonight after seeing this place "only" has a 3.4. I don't understand some of these negative reviews lol. Some of y'all are giving 1 stars because "it was crowded" or because your kid accidentally ordered a $75 pickup order without your permission??? Absolutely wild lol.

Anyway, the staff is super friendly and the service was fast. Most importantly the food was amazing. It was the best burger and fries I've had in a while and def the best meal of our vacation. My mother, brother (each got the pickle burger) and his kids also loved their meals. I had the bbq bacon cheddar burger and fries, which were delicious. I also tried a fried pickle spear from someone else's pickle burger and it was incredible. You'd think it would be soggy but it still had a perfect crunch. The regular fries were so good that my brother actually got nervous thinking maybe they used peanut oil like the chain Five Guys back home (I am allergic to peanuts) but I checked with the staff and thankfully they confirmed that they do NOT (I think they said they use soy). I saw pictures of the truffle fries and chili fries and they looked even better.

It was crowded but that's because it was for dinner during peak hours in late June, because it's located on a boardwalk-type area with a bunch of eateries, shops, etc., and because... it's good. And besides, there were still plenty of seats and even other areas to sit at in...

Have been coming to seaside for years and Pickles is always a must have when on vacation. Unfortunately the last few times we have been it has been awful. First and foremost Seaside was a great little secret years ago, but it is now an overcrowded theme park with not enough personnel, restaurant options, or restrooms! The 1 hour wait for food was the least amount of wait we could find for our group in Seaside, and the food and drinks were all extremely overpriced. Our party had a bill over $250 that would of been about $45 at the local Steak and Shake. The food was nothing spectacular, and extremely disappointing after spending so much on food. The tables were covered in bugs and flies and the entire facility was nothing to be proud of. We all had bugs on our clothes after leaving the facility, THAT is how bad they were!! We quickly ate our food and made our way out of the area as quick as possible. Extremely disappointed in what Seaside and all of the restaurants in the area have become. There needs to be more staff, more restrooms, and food options that can actually accommodate the crowds that Seaside has. I hope this helps out families that are looking to vacation in the area. It has not ever been this bad, but now it is not worth spending the money. We will miss 30A and what...
