Go to Espressiosoās! Definitely the best coffee you will find in town/the county, and they have a pretty interesting story.
Mike, the owner, runs the shop Tues-Fri & Sunday, while his wife operates it on Saturdays (closed mondays). Not only is Mike polite and thoughtful, he also intimately understands his craft and that comes across in the product.
I had a cortado as I always do on my first visit to a coffee shop. The espresso was bright, rich and was excellently complimented by the milk, which was not only deliciously sweet and maximally full on mouthfeel, but also the PERFECT temperature. Kind of odd, as I donāt often consider temperature in latte-based drinks, but I had never realized a cortado could be such a perfect temperature until I had it here!
But itās not just the product that is excellent at Espressiosoās. Mike and his team are working hard to revitalize their large space. As I write this review, their first sub-leasee is opening for their first day of business - a vintage shop with a focus on my childhood era - the 90s and ā00s. Mike told me that they have hopes of bringing in a florist within the next six months or so, and that they plan on expanding their food offerings and table/seating accommodations.
Iām very excited to see where this business goes. Itās businesses like these that we need to support if we want our downtown to continue to flourish.
For the coffee nerds, this is the only place in the whole county that not only weighs every shot, but also tastes the shot every ~45 mins to make sure itās still tasting and pouring well. This, to me, is the most impressive and important difference maker for a consistent and high quality cup of espresso.
I canāt wait to come back. Thank you Mike...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLike many others, I love to treat myself to a nice little drink from time to time. As a full-time working student, I constantly need caffeine and constantly need motivation to work towards my education goals, as school is very draining. I can confidently say that Espressiosoās is one of the highest quality places Ive ever been to. The coffee is amazing, I normally hate black plain coffee but the espresso at this shop is excellent, I can happily have it as an americano, mocha, or just a latte. Right now my current favorite drink here is their chai; the large corporate chains typically use very boring and plain chai and rely on flavored syrups, but at Espressiosoās you can tell they took the time to find a quality chai full of its own flavor. Another reason I love this shop, aside from its great drinks, its their great service. I have been lucky enough to have been able to have some great conversations with the shops owners. They are greatly motivated people that have worked very hard to reach their goals, it even has had an influential impact on myself, after talking with the lovely owners I feel more prompted to work towards my goals and dreams, just as they have. Their work ethic is inspiring and radiates throughout the shop. This little coffee shop has quickly and easily became one of...
