This review is long overdue! We had the pleasure of living at Essex landing for 2.5 years, and were among the first tenants in building 44. The apartment itself lived up to the advertisement of luxurious and efficient. From beautiful quartz countertops to brand new appliances, we were undeniably spoiled by our home’s resources. The design was also incredibly thoughtful, as the circular concept optimized the living area to make our one-bedroom seem spacious! We also had a fantastic corner apartment looking out onto woods and rockface, allowing our cats to watch the wildlife outside!
In addition to the wonderful apartment itself, we were consistently met with exceptional service from the complex. From first meeting with Louise, who helped us find the best apartment match for our needs, to getting work orders completed efficiently by the amazing Alexa and her support staff, Essex Landing definitely began to have a well-oiled machine of tenant service! Whenever any issues did arise (as will always happen with larger living communities, and life overall) the staff was courteous and prompt in addressing the matter. The apartment also began utilizing Amazon hub, which all my neighbors raved as a safe and convenient method of package retrieval.
Our time at the apartment only came to an end due to purchasing a home, but I would highly recommend the complex to anybody searching for a 1-2 bedroom luxury apartment. Alexa was extremely generous in navigating our move-out as well, and I’m truly grateful for the home and friends we were able to establish at...
Read moreEditing my review after a full year at Essex Landing: if you are considering moving here, don’t think, just do it. The apartments are spacious and amazing, lobbies and elevators are nothing short of five star hotels, the locker hubs make getting packages a seamless task and all appliances in the homes are new and modern. Now coming to the management, Alexa is a charm to have as a property manager. She’s super professional, quick to respond and takes care of things effortlessly. Half of the credit of the amazing management goes to her and the other half in my opinion goes to Topher, who heads maintenance. Even though it’s not a 24 hour maintenance service, I did not feel it. Topher is super friendly, comes by with a big smile and fixes everything that needs attention right away. I had a minor leak issue in my apt but it was promptly addressed and handled by both Alexa and Topher. The only one minor drawback in my opinion is the lack of amenities: gym, pool, conference rooms, sitting spaces, but they aren’t as important to everyone and okay to miss out on since the pros so heavily outweigh this one issue. My year living at Essex has been absolutely fantastic and I am indeed sad to be moving out. I’ll miss calling Essex Landing home and the pleasure of having such wonderful people help me as I reside in it. Thank you for a...
Read moreI adore my apartment, but I have to doc stars because of the quality of neighbor. Someone smokes way too much weed on my floor and it is noticeable not only in the hall but it also unfortunately comes through the Air vents and as an asthmatic that is a big problem for me. It's hard to pinpoint which unit it is and while the staff has been very attentive to the complaints about the scent and have sent out a warning letter, the mystery person is still lighting up like they are hanging out with Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson.
On quality of the unit, and the friendliness of the the staff, I'd give the essex 5 stars, but again because of the mystery neighbor flagrantly breaking the rules of the apartment and the asthma triggering marijuana smoke I can...
