McDonald's — Restaurant in Saukville

One of the worst experiences ever had at a McDonald's. I ordered a mobile app drive thru order and stopped by around 11:30pm. I pulled up and let the employee know I was "picking up an order for Oscar". Employee responded with "Okay". After about 30 seconds of silence which I assumed was her looking up my order or something, she says "go ahead with your order" as if I'm a new customer. So I tell her again "I'm picking up an order for Oscar". Another "Okay" and 30 seconds of silence. I tell her "I have a voice code if you'd like", to which she just responds "sorry I didn't hear your code". I give her the code and finally get told to pull around.

At the window I am greeted by a woman wearing a hoodie with very greasy looking hair. While she appears to have some finger tattoos which are fine, some parts of her hands near her nails look as though they may be dirt rather than tattoo. She let me know it would be another minute for my food, and after said minute hands me my food with not a single word. No "have a nice day", no "here you go" nothing.

I take our food home and notice several issues with our food. While nothing was straight up missing, most aspects of the food had something off about them. First of all, both of our large fries were only half filled and were more equivalent to a medium or small. Some of the fries were also very cold. Not just room temperature cold, but like fresh from the freezer cold. Burger #1 (QPC deluxe) had undercooked patties. While not necessarily a problem for me who likes medium patties, I am aware this is definitely not standard for McDonald's. Burger #2 (QPC) requested extra onions and pickles, but the onions appeared to obviously be normal portioned and rather than extra or even regular pickles, there were zero instead???

The only saving grace and the reason I gave the food 2 stars instead of 1 is the fact that our nuggets were the only food not disrespected in some fashion.

I highly doubt I will ever be back at this location, at the very least during the late hours when this employee will most likely be the only one working. I also encourage others looking for a late night burger to try the Kwik Trip next door. If nothing else they at least have basic...

I'm so tired of this location, which is sadly the closest to my home. I have given them an over abundance of patience and understanding for their staffing issues but it never improves. One Christmas I even gave all of the workers there extra money as a tip for working on Christmas Eve. There are a few good staff left, but they consistently forget items in my order, which are becoming increasingly costly lately. They purport to take your name down for follow up if you call the store, but nothing happens as a result. Drive Thru waits are obnoxiously long and they must have the most unreliable ice cream machine this side of civilization. (Just go to the Dairy Queen across the road - if THAT is open) I will now just avoid and go across town to the Port Washington location this one is so bad.

I don't consider myself a demanding customer, I've worked in fast food and in grocery stores and I'm very aware what misery those jobs can be. I go out of my way to remain friendly to people even when I'm frustrated by long waits in the drive thru, but today I just snapped. They technically have $3.69 of my money for literally nothing. Someone probably ate my burger or trashed it from the warmer eventually. I will never come to this McDonald's again. They used to have pretty good service Years ago. Their service sucks now. I stopped in there Today at 12:07 P.M. according to my receipt & I had to wait about 5 Minutes just for them to take my order. They were not even that busy either. They also messed up my order. I ordered 1 Sausage & Egg Biscuit & 2 Cheeseburgers. They only gave me one Cheeseburger. The guy behind me walked in about 30 Seconds after I did & he had to wait about 10 Minutes for them to take his order. He finally said "Can I get some service here?". There were at least 5 people including what looked like a White manager who where just standing there. It was a big heavy set Black Woman who kept ignoring us. I told the guy behind me right in front of the McDonald's staff that next Time I come out this way to visit that I am going to the Taco Bell down the block. Maybe I will get better service there. I also told them that they are just as bad as the McDonald's in Milwaukee. Not paying attention to customers trying to order is bad customer service & ignorant.
