I debated on writing this because I do have to admit I'm not well versed in ordering coffee at a coffee shop. This was my experience today. My husband and I were traveling and stayed in town to watch the ships. We got up and both craved a really good coffee and decided to stop here. No one else was in there at the time. There were tons of choices and options and I just wasn't sure what to get. There wasn't an employee visible when we first walked in but there was a kiosk so we looked at the coffee options. I didnt realize drip coffee was just a coffee and I asked the employee how to order cream. She said you don't, you just add it here and joined to the cream. Which was next to the drip coffee only at a glance I thought it was syrup. I mean again I never go to coffee shops and really didnt know what I was doing. I literally thought drip coffee was a specially brewed coffee. Ugh. My husband orders a red eye and added a second shot of expresso because we didnt realize it already had 2. The employee says with attitude did you want 5 shots of expresso? We didnt understand the question since we didnt realize what we ordered. Now im embarrassed and people are walking in, so anxiety is kicking in. I said oh gosh no! She said well you added extra shots on. We apologized and I knew at that moment we ordered wrong and paid more but I choose not to say anything. She hands my husband the cup with the expresso and that's it. I said why is there so little in the cup. She said I can add water. I said why would you add water? She said that's what its made with. Another employee says, here's your cup for the drip. I said you dont put it in there? I was so confused. She says it just comes with a cup, you get your own drip coffee. I then realized what I thought was syrup was drip coffee. Like just regular brewed coffee. Double ugh. My husband had his expresso in his own cup and added coffee to his and he was good. I said can I have a cup for my coffee? She hands it to me, I apologized for my ignorance and she literally didnt even acknowledge me. I filled the cup, added my own creamer and we left. Recommendation: you are literally a coffee shop where people come first go in the morning, many times on a vacation, starting with good morning would be awesome. Asking if the customer has been there before or if they have questions about the menu. I had forgotten there even was crepes and would have purchased some if it was suggested. If you take orders manually, and you see people struggling with the kiosk...say, I can help you if you would like. If you dont have an option other than ordering on kiosk, start taking orders verbally. Older folks shouldn't feel the way we did. Side note the coffee was delicious but we'll...
Read morethis is a mixed review. My husband & I were so excited to try this place in the morning! we even forged our deliciouslooking breakfast from our hotel. we get there just a block away, & wait in line when our turn comes. we have to wait so cashier can make coffies for orders just placed. no problem, we noticed the prices were all higher than what is posted online. we place our order 2 breakfast crepes & one strawberry plus 2 capuchino coffees . but we have to wait for our drinks as she wants to take the order behind us? wait, we had to wait? whatever, there is one bench to sit on while waiting, and you get to watch them make your crepe. about 5-7 min, we get our sm capuchino coffees that cost an xlg price! they were plain Jane coffee with creamer! soon our order is being cooked & I noticed the cashier put down eating in. she didn't ask, so I stepped up & told the cook/owner it was for takeout. she was kind & pleasant. we hot our order & hurried back to our cottage to dig in. disappointment. they lacked flavor. The crepe was chewy! crepes are not chewy! we ended up tossing half & tried out the strawberry it was good, but it also lacked. the chewyness of the crepe took away from the treat the whole experience deflated our bubble of happy expectation. the cashier seemed stoned & they really need someone just for drinks. the owner blessed her heart and seemed tired & was trying the girl she got to help. idk if she was aware that crepes should have been half the thickness they were. (a rubberized omelet). Fir the cost of $43.00, next time we'll try a different place. this place just was not even close to what we had expected . this asks me what I can recomend...I can't we've never had such a bland capuchino & it was definitely a tourist price. the cream cheese strawberry filling was ok not a strong flavor but ok . wheelchairs please do not get in line if possible have someone order for you because once you order getting out is difficult and everyone most move out of your way which moves the "in" line & that's if there is room between the bench & counter plus the order counter is high unless you stand you cannot reach it. if you have kids seriously unless they are well behaved there is no room for them...
Read moreWe were so excited to read that Oh Crêpe had Gluten Free (GF) and regular Crepe! Vegetarian options too! Yes,they basically can make every crêpe there on a gluten-free crepe! We tried both types. Honestly you wouldn’t even know that the GF crepe was gluten-free. LOL The Chicken Ranch and Chicken Parm (add some pesto) crepe were amazing. The poached chicken is so moist! The Holy Cannoli minus the waffle crumble were gluten free and so yummy😋 We returned the next day for the GF Apple Crepe. It was pretty tasty but could use more cinnamon and sugar in the apples! They do have a selection of coffee beverages. I was not able to try it though as they only offer regular sugar, raw sugar and Stevia sweetener. I have developed a taste for coffee without regular sugar. Not sure why🤷🏻♀️ I can use any artificial sweetener even sweet-n-low which is not my preference, however, Stevia and I do not get along. I also find it very bitter no matter how small of an amount I attempt! I did try to drink the coffee with stevia but it was a no go. Unfortunately, I debunked my purse and forgot my traveler bag in the hotel room where I had some extra Splenda. 😞 These crepe are very hardy in size!...
