Recommended by tour guide- my husband and I went in, stood in line, placed order, watched them make our food, then a guy cut in front of everyone, places his order and paid, as I and a line of others, waited to pay for 5-10 minutes. I gave them my Discover card, and was told they do not accept it. I explained that is all I had and the cashier asked the cook and he said "then cancel your order". There is no room, just a literal line of ppl between the cook area and wall. I said, I have nothing else, so I guess I will have to. I walked out the door and immediately to my husband, who was told to wait outside while we were in line waiting, "only those paying inside, all others go out". My husband said that he had cash, I ran it in immediately (5 steps away) and as I stood in front of the cook (he saw me with cash in hand), he gave my order number away to the ppl at the back of the line, I told him I had cash, and I was that number. He said, "you canceled your order, it's now their number"- he was a complete jerk. Even the others in line were trying to help me and felt bad.
This is not the soup nazi on Seinfeld, it's a burger joint for Gods sake, have a heart or at least manners. There was no sign stating Discover couldn't be used. It just looks like a McDonalds assembly line with your typical condiments slapped on and I see nothing special about their burgers- even the title is lame,...

Recommended to come by our tour guide as he claims that the joint offers 'the best burger that he's had'.
Long wait time and was ordered to leave the small confined restaurant to wait. We do sympathise with the cashier who has to deal with payment, give out drinks, deliver completed order and answer the phone at the same time.
While waiting, some tour guide rushed in and demanded for thee complimentary burger - seriously not a good look to all the waiting customers.
Eventually got our order after 30 min which exhausted half of our time in town.
The burgers are of generous portion. Cheese is lacking taste and the beef patty was over cooked and dry. The chicken is pretty thin. Bun is only standard mass produced products and was pretty tough with nothing to shout about. The lettuce, tomato and onion toppings are fresh though and the sauce acceptable.
Certainly a long way off the 'Best' and it ended up a complete waste of time. Would recommend anyone to avoid this place especially if you are on a...
Read moreWe were quite hungry after riding across the Golden Gate Bridge and continuing on to Sausalito. My boyfriend scoped out a good eatery on Google. Well, the burgers at this place definitely hit the spot! At first, we were skeptical due to the line going out the door to order, yet it was moving quickly, so we decided to wait and order. Took minutes to do so. You’ll see on the video clip how they keep the grill “moving,” literally 😅. The service was friendly and efficient. They know how to “move” the food so people leave satisfied. It’s a cook to order place, amazingly! The only reason I rated them lower on the atmosphere is due to its size; standing room only—you go in and you have to come out. We saw only 3 or 4 tables to sit at and they were occupied. But honestly, they’ve made their space and this restaurant work. As they say, “the proof is in the pudding…or hamburger 🍔 “. Great job! If you’re in Sausalito and hungry for chargrilled...
