I placed an order online for pickup in store using your app. When I walked in I saw my name on the screen marked "Ready". No one was working on pick up orders and the only person up front was inundated with customers placing orders. I had to ask her if someone was working pick up orders. She very nicely checked mine and they were still working on it. Another gentleman told me that my order had said ready 10 minutes before I got there and he'd been waiting a while himself. After a few more minutes I could see my order in the window and then someone from the kitchen came up, bagged the order, made sure I got any drinks or anything else I needed. It wasn't a bad experience as both the lady working behind the counter and the one from the kitchen were working nonstop to try to get the orders out along with the rest of the kitchen staff who were working nonstop. They were as sweet as could be considering the stress I know they were under. I recommend having a manager or someone on staff to pitch in and help expedite orders and keep everything moving. I feel like that's what was missing for a restaurant who charges as much as you do for your food. The food is fine, nothing crazy. However, I will not forget the sweet spirit of the young ladies working to get...

Freezing cold inside the building to the point that multiple people were obviously shivering while waiting for their food. 37 minutes for 2 tenders and fries....way too long of a wait. Trash all over the inside of the eating area, drink machines and counters soaked with drink residue and sticky. The tall employee with the short blond hair was on his cell phone which is in a green case while putting food orders together and not changing gloves or washing hands. Employee girl that changed out the trash can came out took the can back and returned with an empty trash can and then went right back to work without changing gloves and washing hands. The tall guy that's in the Titleist hat has zero control over the staff. So many small dhec violations that it's embarrassing to anyone that's worked in f&b. Being a new buisness, you shouldn't be operating like this. Forwarding this complaint to the corporate office also.
Update: both of us that ate the food yesterday both are now sick with stomach issues. Took about 8-10 hours for it to hit us. And this was the only food we ate yesterday.
First experience with this new buisness will...

Let me just say this: Dave’s Hot Kitchen is not for the weak—and that’s exactly why I love it. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was fire (literally and figuratively). The aroma of perfectly fried chicken with that signature kick had my mouth watering before I even ordered.
I went with the “Inferno Deluxe” sandwich, and wow… the crispiness, the juiciness, the layers of flavor—it was a full-on flavor explosion. The heat level was intense but addictive, and the pickles and slaw balanced it out perfectly. Their house sauce? It deserves its own award.
I also tried the spicy fries and a side of mac and cheese. Both were insane. The fries had that bold seasoning that makes you keep eating even when your lips are tingling, and the mac? Creamy, cheesy, a little spicy—basically soul food with swagger.
Service was fast, the staff were super friendly, and they even checked in to see if I needed milk (I did).
If you haven’t been to Dave’s Hot Kitchen yet, what are you doing with your life? 10/10 recommend. Your taste buds will thank you—and maybe cry...
