Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Savannah

My family and i love Jimmy John's sandwiches! We usually go to the Pooler, GA location but since we were headed to Savannah we stopped at this one. It is significantly larger than the one in Pooler but there was only one gentleman eating in the entire restaurant. I found that to be odd but went ahead to order anyway. The restaurant was very cold so that may explain why there was nobody eating inside. I took my daughter into the bathroom and it literally felt like a refrigerator! It was risiculous! There were 3 young men working behind the counter and one older man wandering around appearing to be cleaning but there really wasn't anything to clean. The guy at the register smelled like B.O. (body odor) and i had to hold my breath while i ordered. I ordered 4 Ham BLTs (formerly Ultimate Porkers). I asked for 2 without lettuce and 2 without lettuce and add cheese. The guy at the register asked if i wanted them cut in half and i said yes. We received our food and sat down to eat. All 4 sandwiches had cheese so i had to pick the cheese off 2 of them. Only 3 of the sandwiches were cut in half so i had to tear the 4th one in half with my hands. We were not given any napkins and there were no napkins out at the drink counter for customer use. my wife, michelle left a review further down from saturday morning on 10/28/23 but this place is SO BAD yall deserve a double review. so we walk in and theres 2 employees. one is some lady behind the counter who looked at us like we offended her for having the nerve to want a sandwich. the other old guy is just shuffling around the store so i dont even pay him no mind. back to ms "i want money but dont want to work" my wife asks for the italian nightclub with jalapenos and mustard, i ask for the tuna club with no cucumbers. what we got was a tuna club doused in vinegar and jalapenos and an italian nightclub with meat and cheese only. so, whoever was working on 10/28/23 at 1130AM was either SO STUPID that they literally cannot even make a sandwich, which even a tiny child can do. OR, more likely, she blatantly did it on purpose cause we made her get off her phone and work for 5 minutes. remember, manager or district supervisor who reads this review, 10/28/23 11-11:30AM your sandwich board worker intentionally messed up our food cause we made her do her job. we will NEVER come back to this trash place. yall need to take a cue from the bruncwick JJ, now they can actually do their jobs and not get mad for having to do it in the...

I can only speak for the night time crew as they are the ones who typically take my order.

Gotta say, these guys are pros. I order here online super frequently and the night shift are always super quick and make sure everything is right. There have been times where they run out of tea, which is a bummer because I love their tea, but they always call me to see if there is anything else I'd like. I get it because I do order super close to close time for these guys (sorry!) but I am super happy with their service at night. My sandwich is always right and the dude who always calls, John, sounds super nice. I know someone reads these, so please make sure they know someone appreciates their work!!
