We have bought a couch from Crate & Barrel store in-person on June 5th, 2022 for the delivery to our house. The employees at Crate & Barrel assured us that the couch is in stock and we should receive the item within 1-2 weeks. It has been close to 3 months now and the item is still delayed... It was never in stock as previously told. The Crate & Barrel's tracking website is useless and the only information you can get is that the item can be expected at certain time of the month. Well... I have been tracking it since expect early June, expect mid June, expect late June, expect early July, expect mid July, expect late July, expect early August, expect mid August and NOW expect late August. I have called Crate & Barrel customer service countless of times and they have been absolutely NOT helpful at all. I have been told that my item can be booked "next week", which was 2 months ago. I was told that same thing almost 1 month ago and even last week. Yet, the item is still delayed. If I knew that this would be the case and such a nightmare, I would have never purchased my couch from Crate & Barrel. I ordered a couch 2 months ago from Ashley Furniture and it was delivered to my house within 7 business days, while the Crate & Barrel couch is still delayed for over 3 months with no expected delivery/booking time any time soon. Right now, I am stuck in a limbo because 3/4th of the quote for the couch has been paid and I have already waited for this couch 3 months and all this time has been wasted. I wanted to get the remaining pieces but they had recently been discontinued. I called the store to see if they had them by chance and if not if I could exchange them. She told me it was past the 90 day mark and they couldn’t except them. No one had told me about the 90 days when creating the registry. Emily then said I could come in and we would just need a manager override. So I go there two hours later. Carried in 6 boxes myself to the back of the store (I’m pregnant might I add) to then have Rachel tell me they couldn’t take them. She then told me Emily said our conversation on the phone was hostile, told me not to come in but I said I was anyway…. Never in a million years would I waste my time if that what was told to me.
