If I could do a review based on my experience just based on after being seated, I would've given this place a 5-star rating. The food was great, and the servers were quick, attentive, and friendly! The problems unfortunately came before I was even seated.
I had a called a few days before to see if I could do a reservation and they said they don't do that, but to call about an hour and a half in advance to let them know I was coming in with a bigger group so they could be prepared. I called an hour and a half ahead and still had to wait almost an hour to be seated after getting there. And honestly, I don't mind that too much because I understand they were busy and they don't do reservations, so there's no promises.
My biggest issue was with this woman who seemed like a manager. I was there with a group of 10 under the name Alex, (my middle name). After waiting for about 45 minutes, she came up to us and goes, "Is this the group for Alex?" And I thought we were finally going to be seated, and I told her,"Yes, we're the group for alex." Then she asked who's phone number the group was under, and i said it was mine. Then she comes at me with a rude tone and attitude and says, "So when we texted you that your table was ready, you were the one who responded with profanity??š¤Ø" and I was genuinely appalled and shocked and I told her "I have no clue what you're talking about. We've been here for about 45 minutes and I haven't received any texts recently. I only received the one saying I was in line, I can even show you my texts" and she asks what my number ends in, so I told her, and she said "let me go check", still with an attitude. I went up the hosts area with her and ask "did you have the wrong number or what? Because I would never respond like that" and then she sees there's ANOTHER party for Alex, but this one was for 6 people, under a completely different phone number, different area code, and everything. And she goes, "oh I'm sorry, it must've been the other alex," but she said it in such an insincere tone. And I told her "well you came at me and my group pretty hot when you didn't even check which Alex we were" and she responded "no I didn't, I didn't even raise my voice or anything. We'll have your table ready soon š"
It was just such a weird and odd experience, because when you have two groups under the same name, how could you be ignorant enough to not check which person you're confronting when you come at them. It genuinely felt like she was trying to embarrass me in front of my group and the other guests in the waiting area. I don't know if she was being disrespectful because we were a group of young adults or because we were all hispanics, but she needs to learn to be more professional. I would love to use some of that "profanity" right now, but I won't stoop to her level.
I didnāt catch her name, but she was the only person in the hosts area that wasn't wearing all black like the rest of the hosts, she seemed to be late 30's early 40's, had her hair in a bun, i think a green/teal shirt, and if I was asked to point her out, I would.
I also attached photos of the messages I received to show i never received a message saying my table was ready and I never responded with any profanity. Also, I sent the C response because I had already gone to the hosts stand at 6:53, and then at 8:09 was when I was...

My family came in here after good news on my moms 50th birthday we are a large group of 12 and we had 3 extra people with us 15 in total we called in and checked with management to make sure they can accommodate us and sure enough the manager on call Mike said not an issue we arrive and we wait an hour for our table the restaurant was almost empty outside of two other patrons no problem I figured probably not enough staff tonightā¦wrong multiple staff members just standing around okay no big deal we are a group of 15 after all they sit us down at the table which is a bit smaller then it should be for a group of 15 Iād say it should only seat 12 after waiting for 20 minutes we finally received drinks then another 20 minutes waiting to order food in the time we received our appetizers this table is absolutely filled to the brim with plates and no elbow room whatsoever after asking the staff numerous times to remove the plates my wife actually dropped a baked potato all Over her self my mom decided to remove them off the table her self practically had to flag down the wait staff for a refill multiple items we received were wrong or we didnāt receive whatsoever however it was an occasion so we didnāt complain that night as to not ruin the night further ruin my moms birthday so my wife called in the next day explaining the situation and the manager on call was Andrea she saw no fault in the staff whatsoever and claimed that we were in and out in less then an hour I have time stamps to prove we were there for over 2 hours she was completely indifferent to the experience and outright blamed us for coming in with such a large group she belittled the issues we referred to and offered compensation of $100 very unhappy with this as the tab with tip came out to over $600! We werenāt even requesting a refund we just wanted to come in again and try to have a better experience she told us her higher up district manager would be reaching out to us to resolve the Situation his name was David after waiting 3 days for David to finally reach out he was pretty much indifferent to the situation as well pretty much telling us to take $200 or kick rocks didnāt realize this was deal or no deal? after a 15 minute conversation we decided enough is enough we will take what we can get and move forward from the situation unfortunately after another 4 days nothing has been received and my wife is just completely bummed about the situation as it was her idea to go to longhorn for the birthday ultimately I will be contacting corporate and taking it up with them directly Food was good props to the chef need a total overhaul on management waiters were okay
TL:DR Donāt come with a big group do not look for management if you have an issue poor customer service good food they will overcook the steak I asked for medium and received well...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas very disappointed this evening with our visit to this location... Still in disbelief of how the manager Kate handled the issue with our pace of service... We sat quickly but our server appeared to be overwhelmed with 6 tables going at the same time...greeting was slow but server was pleasant... We placed our order and we were waiting on our bread when our hot food arrived before our salads... The manager Kate who brought out food continued to leave our hot food at the table when we explained to her that we were still waiting on bread and our salads... She didn't seem to care that this occured and simply said well I can give you the salads to go and left the table... Our server Jenny came over and realized she had never brought out our salads and did apologize and took away our food to bring out our salads... I requested to speak with a different manager but he never came to the table...Kate came back to the table to say she'd be buying us dessert but no apology for the mishap she was not apologetic whatsoever she just stared at me while I tried to explain how we did not want free dessert we just wanted our food fresh and in proper order and also that her offer to give us our salad to go was the most ridiculous comment that could have been made. Kate glared at me with contempt if looks could kill... when my daughter asked if she had any intentions of apologizing for the mishap she was very reluctant and basically was forced into a nonchalant "I apologize" and walked away... This young lady had no table side abilities nor words to even discuss our incident... Not sure who trained her as a manager but bottom line she didn't appear to have any concerns for her guests... Sadly, our server had to spend her time apologizing many different times and informed us she had 6 tables running simultaneously so therefore overwhelmed and could not bring our salads out in time... The restaurant was not as busy as it could have been so not sure why manager Kate was unaware of how swamped this server was... We did not seek anything for free and declined the offer of dessert... All we wanted was a meal in the proper sequence... We left a good tip just because our poor server was doing her best... This manager may need some additional training on recovering customer issues in proper form with a more heartfelt attitude.. but like I tell my kids you can't make people care... Kates attitude along with her smug demeanor towards our situation definitely shows she really didn't care at all about our situation or our experience dining at this restaurant... Definitely will not be returning any time soon to...
