Nope. Everything here seems a bit off. I walked in looking for gym clothes. The colors seem odd, the styles are just a little weird. Very little appealed. Finally after combing through the place, I found, tried on and walked to the front with a running shirt. I impulsively grabbed a bag of Australian black licorice while waiting to check out. I usually never touch food in those outlet places. I'd heard long ago that the food has usually has had a long stay in some remote warehouse. I was ready to take a chance. So, I asked the older gentleman who checked me out if he'd tried the licoorice, and he assured me that plenty of it sells, and people often come back for more. On the way home I opened the licorice, and it was so tough it was like chewing on an old tire, I spat it out. I brought the licorice back and the young kid behind the counter was like "um, you opened it". Yes, I told her, that's how I found out it was stale. She said "Yeah, I don't think we don't take back open food". I asked her to bring ask her manager, she mumbled something into her headset, and a moment later looked at me and tiredly shook her head. So, how did the shirt work out? Like I said, I tried it on and it fit, but then when I ran with it, the stitches, which were pronounced, rubbed against my skin in the weirdest way. So, into the donation bin. I didn't even consider trying to take that back. Everything is kind of off about this place. The clothes, food, workers, management, ...
Read moreThe store and selection is lovely. Brenda was my cashier, nice and seemed proficient at her job, however, Adina was the team lead at the time of my visit and not only was she unprofessional, she acted in a manner very rude and condescending. Instead of honoring a tag on a jacket, stated that the tag was incorrect due to being very busy with inventory and that they could not sell a jacket for the price listed on the tag. Not only frustrating due to the lack of customer service, but the amount of time wasted by being told it was no problem and a simple SKU mistake to being told it was a “very expensive jacket and there’s no way you can buy it for the price on the tag”. What? Since when is the tag not honored, regardless of a tagging error.
What a waste of 20 minutes of my time and a lot of unnecessary frustration. Very disappointed with Adina’s attitude and inability to resolve the situation. She did tell me if I was unhappy with my visit I could fill out the survey on the receipt. Not helpful, did not improve my...
Read moreFirst time visiting a Sierra store, I thought this was like a REI or something but it’s more like the TJ Maxx of outdoor everything, everything is discounted. They have an assortment of pants, shirts, shorts, etc..on racks just like TJ Maxx. I was impressed with the winter jackets and the ski/snow pants, was plenty to choose from. The winter socks take up a whole wall in the back, definitely plenty to choose from. Also, they have a rather large pet selection of beds, toys, and snacks, which surprised me. Really good deals there, too. I could spend quite a bit of time here just checking all the stuff out I never seen before. I was looking for something very specific and didn’t find it here but this is a great place to check out if you need...
