Second review ~~~~~~~~~~ Went in again last week. Food was good. Waitress was very courteous. Even a manager dropped in every single table handing out his business card requesting him to let know in case of any issues. They provided a complimentary wine sample. We ordered very limited food items, nothing from the appetizers, but all that we ordered tasted good. Tables were clean. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Only reason I am giving two stars is for the waitress for I don't want to disappoint her for the good job she did. Boy oh boy, where do I start? Utensils were not washed properly. I had to clean the dust off my two plates that were served. The kiosk in the table was disgusting, it was not clean. I don't know why they don't keep basic things neat and clean Next coming to food, we ordered a sampler and the Calamari was not cooked properly, we had to send it back and get them cooked properly. Bread sticks (for which they are very famous for) was served piping hot and fresh, but when we tasted it, It was very very salty, just dry, I mean really really dry bread stick, I mean how can they get the basic bread stick wrong?! Overall terrible experience during this visit. When I see tv shows making fun of Olive Garden I didn't understand it first, but I get it now.

My party came here after a trip to Italy - we were on a mission to compare the pasta in Olive Garden compared to what we had in Italy (Rome and Florence) and see just what the differences are. Our party came in with the impression that pasta in Rome is amazing, whereas in Florence it catered to a more American palette and felt more like tourist traps. The chicken/shrimp carbonara we had was my favorite dish here, and it actually held up compared to pasta in Florence (the carbonara in Rome though was still a few notches higher). The pasta here was better than the worst pasta we had in Florence, for example. By no means did it compare to the best we had in either Florence or Rome. The carbonara had a slight roasted pepper after taste so it wasn’t as pure. But it was creamy, tender chicken, and everything else. The spaghetti in meat sauce was expectedly mid, and the baked Ziti was also not great. The red sauce didn’t have good consistency, the meat wasn’t very fresh, and the sauce didn’t cling to the noodles well. I think the cream based sauces at Olive Garden are better than the red based sauces. The bread was nice and warm too. The soup, not so much. Should’ve just gotten the salad.

It’s a an amazing place, me, my brother and my sister we had our best restaurant experience here. Our server was very sweet, kind and jolly her name was Ketali, she was new but she did an amazing job, walked us through the menu thoroughly and helped us with our dietary needs. Service is definitely 5 star. We ordered bunch of good food. So we got shrimp Alfredo, cheese ravioli, eggplant parmigiana, calamari, some appetizers shrimp and their very own flavorsome house SALAD. I was trying to point out some mistakes but it was really hard but i still got one or two. The sliver-ware was worn out, and the men’s room was a little smelly. Other than this everything was very perfect. The ambiance is perfect for an Italian restaurant, with granite like textures on the walls or I don’t really know if those were real. Our table was very comfortable and spacious as well. The best thing is that we can pay right at the table. Next time when you’re there and if you want to skip all those formal hassles then pay right at your table. I am definitely going to come here again and enjoy the food. Thank you so much Olive Garden for having us and thank you ketali for your amazing customer service.

This is the worst experience that my family and I ever had at this Olive garden in Schaumburg . My family holiday gathering was totally ruined there. Their floor operations were such a disorganized one, and their staff were not trained at all under the dull management. There were two managers there, one of them was very discriminatory and no professional service. The manager person ruined our holiday dining there. The other manager showed up at very end and he tried to make it up but I rejected to receive the further service politely because our kid was very depressed and crying by the humiliating situation that the MANAGER person (I do not write his name nor describe) did to us. I will file this incident officially to their corporate as well. Here were what happened below. We stayed at this location between 1:50pm and 2:28pm and we were obligated to pay the entire bill without having our main foods that we ordered because the manager guy humiliated us in public and pushed us to leave without paying. We were frightened to leave without paying the bill so we gave $50 to the other manager who tried to help. First, we ordered the drinks and appetizers through the table tablet order system. Our drinks were never delivered to our table for 15 minutes, so I had to ask one of the waiters at the server’s station. A server brought the drinks with no straws so I went there again and asked for the straws. I asked a different waiter WHO was assigned for our table but she was not sure and nobody showed up another 10min. One server showed up finally and took our entry orders, but no foods were delivered eventually. Only kid’s meal luckily was made for our boy. Then we explained what happened to the store manager called himself ‘store manager’, he was rushing for something else and said VERY rudely ‘we will assign the server to your table now and make sure our food orders were in.’ Very rude and annoying face. It’s been more than 30min waiting already but we only had drinks and kid’s food. So we decided to leave and we asked him for the bill adjustment. He showed his annoying face AGAIN and very roughly told us ‘Don’t need to pay, just leave.” With his statements, we felt very humiliated and even discriminated by him in public. A few minutes later there is another person called himself ‘he was another manager’ and he apologized what happened and tried to solve the situation. He was showing his professional manner and nicely received our payment but the bill was never adjusted so charged us the full amount. Again we paid the entire bill including the foods we did not even receive because the previous manager brought us the bill anyways and pushed us to leave. He actually thew the bill to the table and humiliated again. We were thrilled and our kid started crying too. Finally, the other manger took our payment and persistently apologized to us and we actually left all the changes for him. We strongly hope that this message and complain are delivered to the upper management to improve the local operation at the location and the olive garden’s quality of their services. I’m writing for the manager and for our kid because he likes...

I have never had any complaints with this Olive Garden location before, but that was only because I was accompanied by my family. Today I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. We are all 20-year old college students. Growing up, my parents have always enforced proper etiquette at the dinner table and how to act when at a restaurant or out in public. After we arrived I could already see our waitress with an annoyed look as she knew that we were a huge group of “kids”. We were very organized and all ordered water and our food very quickly. After about 20 minutes we realized the breadsticks were still not delivered to our table which we could see that all other guests who were quite older than us received theirs as soon as they ordered. Our food was delivered promptly and was delicious. Once finished, it was time to pay for our meals, with separate checks, on the small machines that some Olive Garden locations now use. Our waitress handed us the machine and our checks and said “Have a good night” and left. Now I have used one of these machines before but it had been a while. I had to flag our waitress down to ask for assistance. One of my friends tried paying with a gift card for 2 checks. After trying and failing to use his gift card a note popped up on the screen and said that we should “ask our waitress for assistance.” We waited for 20 minutes and our waitress was no where to be found. Finally, one of my friends found her and went to her to get our problem fixed. She said she would “take care of it”, and walked away again. Another 10 minutes passed by and during that time we saw our waitress helping her other tables, which I understand she must do, but we still had not received any information about the gift card payment. As she returned she handed my friend his receipt and he asked politely for a to go box as he did not have a chance to ask her before because she kept walking away. ANOTHER 7 minutes passed and there was still no to go box which were 3 steps away from our table. I was tempted to get up myself and grab one. At this point I was extremely frustrated with the way that my friends and I were being treated and asked another waitress if she could get us a box. I believe that our waitress overheard me ask her co-worker and immediately gave us a box. After that, we left the restaurant not making a sound but getting very dirty looks from the older workers. I am a 20 year old woman, not a child. I strongly believe that everyone should be treated with the same amount of respect no matter their age. Just because I am a younger customer does not mean that I don’t take situations like going out to eat seriously. I am very dissatisfied with the service my friends and I received and the way that we were treated. A night to celebrate my good friends birthday turned into a night of annoyance...

I truly feel the customer service at this location has gone downhill for the past 9 months I have been coming to this location almost weekly for the 3 years but for the past 9-10 months it just has not been the same the service is either super good or super bad more bad then good the last time I came with my husband around 8pm we just came for the soup or salad we were seated by the host at a booth this time we just wanted soup and salad all the servers were standing laughing talking in a corner then they started to stare at our table whispering who's taking that table we waited for about 18 minuttes to be helped it was so frustrating the server was so irrated she came to us saying I thought I was done for the night and never checked on us after we gotten our soup and salad didn't offer a refill for anything the next time I came here I ordered the same thing just soup and salad again something simple my server was young brought me my soup took 20 minutes to come back saying can i get you anything else? I said I would love my salad that I've been waiting for I asked for no onion or dressing and it had both onion and dressing that had to get sent back I asked for bread sticks again 3 times and it took a very long time to get my food if someone orders soup and salad it should be brought out together I'm very disappointed with the service it has gone down completely there's been a lot of other bad experiences where I have had to speak with the store manager but now I will be simply going to the Bloomingdale location which is sad considering this is 4 minutes from my house I now have to drive 30 minutes for...
