Ever since they had opened, I've been going for their signature mochinuts donuts and their corndogs! Almost never a month pass by that I haven't stopped going. Pretty much after my pay and going home from work, I stop by on their store to grab me a box of mochinut (always ever changing different flavors of their frosting) and a corndog or two. The donuts actually "last" more than 3 days and the frosting also stays intact as if its still fresh. Of course nothing beats a fresh one from the store... but man... do they stay really long as compared to other donuts where they get hard the next day and the frosting just melts that just makes the whole doughnut soggy. Their flavors in the menu always changes which is awesome! They will have their regulars flavors but I have my faves too like anything with Ube, guava, churro, and some chocolates.
Store itself is always clean, very nice touch of decor and not overwhelming. You will see a lot of cute asian inspired touch for the likes of hello kitty and some neon lights. But all you will smell of the place are those fresh mochinuts and corndogs being cooked.
Staff and service are superb and very friendly and accommodating. They even educate some customers who are new to the place and explain the kind of donuts they make.
The donuts are really different than your typical dunkin donuts, krispy kreme and even those gourment donuts for the likes of Stans. The texture is different, and their corndogs... oh man... don't get me started on those... my fave are always the half/half (half mozzarella and hotdog). The dough is not your normal flour corndog... they use the same secret ingredient the way they make their mochinuts. Once you try their several toppings... game over. They are also coming out with more toppings in the future as I was told so stay tune for more flavors with their corndog.
They also serve other refreshments such as boba teas, some unique coffees and soft serve icecreams. I've still yet to try those.
So if you happen to ever want a different kind of doughnut... Mochinut on this location is a MUST...
Read moreThis is, what I would have to say, the worse cafe/restaurant experience I've had. Got there, ordered my corn dogs and waited about 15-20 mins which was fine because it was 5 and they had, I think, only one person making them.
Then it gets to the fun part. We order drinks to go, ready wait another 20 mins for the drinks because that's the normal wait time for something like this. I was waiting for another 30-45 minutes because some 'influencer' filming was more important than getting orders done in time. If they had more than one person making those drinks then it would have been fine but they only had one and she was more concerned about the influencer rather than her customers.Lady thought she was all that, moving ppl from seats and areas so she could get pictures and videos. FINALLY got the drinks (which were terrible) and was told I could take ONE donut for waiting(without looking apologetic) , like that would have solved the problem of wasting my time.
Safe to say, when you go there, make sure to ask if theyre going to have any influencers coming in because of they are you're waiting for a bit. And if they have only one worker at the front counter. Being halal means nothing when...
Read moreI had been following Mochinut for sometime and was so hyped up over their posts and recent grand opening! I live in Gilberts but originally from Schaumburg so today I made the 30 min drive out, got there before they opened at noon and waited. I walked in and they had nothing prepared, they said it would be about 15-20 min wait for the donuts, wanted to see the other ordering option but not even the menu was posted. I decided to go back and wait in my car, waited 30 mins to give them some grace and walked back in only for them to tell me it’s MAYBE going to be another 20 minutes minimum…so I this point I’m trying to decide if I want to wait an hour after they’ve been open. I go to the bathroom and there’s no soap. The sensor on the soap had low battery and there was an empty soap bottle that looked like it had been sitting there for a while…I let them know about the soap situation and decided to leave, probably best that I didn’t eat their if employees can’t properly wash hands. So disappointing to...
