This is The Worst McDonald’s ever. Racism at its finest. the managers are the biggest participant in this foolishness they supposed to be Role Models but their teaching the employees how to be rude and mean to African American people everytime I come to this McDonald's this is the closest one to my home they don't have any customer service at all no communication skills unprofessional I brushed it off but when my kids let me know that they're getting the same treatment it's a problem..... this rudeness has to stop it has to stop today my son does ubereats and have to do pickups at this McDonald's he was also telling me how rude the managers are here until today he asked me to come and ride with him to see how rude they be to him so I took the initiative to take the ride with him today and I witnessed them being mean to him the managers on duty was an Hispanic lady she was the one who once call my son stupid and an a heavy-set Hispanic man name is Ismel who participate in all of this foolishness my son goes through the driveway to pick up his Uber Eats order and the manager that goes by the name of Ismel always tells him that he has to come in to pick up the order that the order is not ready and that he cannot come to the driveway to pick up orders which the app stated that he can pick up the orders from the drive-thru then when my son goes into pick up the order the order be sitting on the counter ismel does this for a joke and think this is funny and all of the employees be laughing now when he comes out with the food the McDonald's bag they didn't put the stickers on properly they crumble the bag up so it can look like he went into the bag they talk to him any type of way then as he's walking out the door everyone even the employees watching him walk out the door until he get all the way to the car if any big bosses that's reading this watch the cameras and you will see this needs to stop we will not tolerate the customer service that we are getting in this neighborhood at this McDonald's at this location if any of the corporate managers that's reading this today or this week or sometime in the future you guys need to go out there and observe these managers or train them over give them some type of customer service Or House mentality courses on how to treat people with dignity and respect if they are going to run a business because as of today this McDonald's will not get another dime of my money they need to start treating people with respect...... If it take me to get people together and go out there and boycott in front of this location with signs on how to treat customers with respect and dignity they are very rude these people are very very rude they need to be fired if they didn't want to work with the public they should never apply for this position get it together at this location straining your attitude out thank you and have a blissful day God bless you all....... I wish I didn't have to give 1 star because I would've gave this McDonald's none they never answer the phone so you can call and address the situation with the managers everyone there needs to be fired fire everyone and rehire new worker that have good customer service my son had to go back to this McDonald's around 11:20 or 11:30 Ismel tells my son he shouldn't work for Uber Eats and when my child tell him off now Ismel won't to threaten to call the police on him he needs to be fired he shouldn't dished anything out that he can't take getting it dished out back at him I will be calling corporate our black man's out here trying to work a job trying to stay out of trouble and we have this Hispanic man manager there goes by the name Ismel harassing him threatening him with the police he isn't doing anything but trying to do a part-time job this needs to stop..... Now this is how the bags supposed to look and be ready for the Uber Eats driver to grab not crumbled up and the tag crumble up as well.... This bag was prepared by another location not this worse unprofessional customer service...
Read moreThis is the worse McDonald's in Hanover Park. That is until it went under new management. Don't get me wrong, the improvements make it look all fancy, and although I have never been inside since the renovations, I can tell it is nice on the inside from looking outside. HOWEVER, looking new and fancy has nothing to do with the terrible food and customer service.
I run a business so I typically come here to get bags of ice. Once I ordered 2 bags and they put the ice in the white bags that they use for their salads. Not the long, clear 10lb bag. She brings it out and says we ran out of regular ice bags, sorry. So how do I know I got my money's worth since you have me 2 very small bags of ice. Who's fault is it that someone is not doing inventory??
Another time I pulled up to order and overheard a conversation on the speaker and heard laughing. So when I said what's funny, all of a sudden it goes quiet for a long time (I guess they realized they didn't mute their conversation). So then I said are you going to take my order? I received an attitude from the first teller. When I got home (I learned to check the inside of whatever I order because usually you will have to pick something out of it) I looked inside my mcchicken and the lettuce was Brown , I took a photo (another time I asked for light tartar on the fish sandwich and I got no tartar on it after checking, dry sandwich). I'm all about good quality food, yes it is McDonald's however since when did serving Brown lettuce become okay?? Lettuce is so cheap so the fact that they rather use old lettuce instead of fresh is appalling.
Last night, I went here knowing better. I usually order the fries with my meals, but I have stopped doing so because they fill the cup half way, kill you with the salt overload, and they are cold 90% of the times. I tried ordering fries "fresh", no avail, some fresh and some old fries will be mixed together so you're not really getting them "fresh". They have the buttermilk tenders on their menu but it's been discontinued since the end of summer. So when I asked to give me a minute to decide on something else, I was rushed when there were no other cars in line. I ordered the buttermilk sandwich only. Wasn't worth it paying for old fries so I passed. Pay for my food, pick it up, went home. First things first, check the sandwich. Not to my surprise, more brown lettuce. But now we also have a rock hard burnt bottom bun to add. Just terrible. I just threw everything out and only ate the chicken patty, $6 wasted. I have called with these complaints and was mailed a free McChicken meal certificate.... seriously.
No, get new employees!!!!!! Don't overcharge because you need someone to pay for those fancy renovations!!! Do better on food quality!!! Do you not think people can see & taste they are being served old, cold food??

Read moreWe came to order two shamrock shakes drive thru, we paid at the first window, got to the second window and the employee told me to pull to the third window since they are still making them. We waited around until another employee finally came and told us they don’t have shamrock shakes and he offered us different flavor of shakes which we chose strawberry flavor. We waited a little bit more later he came back and told us they were completely out of shakes. At this point we told him we wanted a refund since that’s the only reason we came to McDonald’s he proceeded to tell us that it is the store policy that they don’t give refunds and we couldn’t believe what we heard and asked to speak to a manager. We waited even more time waiting for a manager to come talk to us and the manager never came. The employee came back and told us they were making the shakes even though they told us they were out of them. We proceeded to tell the employee that we didn’t want the shakes anymore because at this point we were dissatisfied and confused with the whole situation. The employee seemed mad and walked away when we told him we didn’t want the shakes anymore we wanted a refund. We waited agin and when we came back we expected them to give us a refund but instead he came back with the wakes that we didn’t want anymore and he gave us a strawberry shake and a shamrock shake even tho we didn’t want them anymore. At That point we just took the shakes because we figured the manager doesn’t want to deal with their costumers and didn’t want to give us a refund even though it was their fault.
