Ordered a White Hot Chocolate and they decided to put espresso in it. Called and they argued it was a miscommunication. I don't know exactly how "one tall white hot chocolate" which was presented correctly on their screen is miscommunicated to mean "white mocha drink, add espresso" but apparently they managed it.
We've ordered drinks where I've asked for extra whipped cream and it consistently comes without it. Now they're trying to tell me it's melting. If you order a caramel apple spice and there's not a single hint of white coating the top, and it's just plain clear red drink, I have no idea how that's considered "melting."
Or how quite often "caramel apple spice, extra whipped cream and caramel" magically turns into "plain steamed apple juice." Just another bit of miscommunicated sorcery on their part I guess.
And the dragon fruit and blackberries within their Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonade melts too apparently. Even after they charge you $1.20 for adding an EXTRA scoop of dragon fruit and a single scoop of blackberries.
What doesn't magically melt here is the ice. Because a couple times when I've asked for "no ice" it becomes miscommunicated into "jam packed with extra ice."
Half the time when I order off their HOT BEVERAGE menu, they make an iced version of it. They promised me an equivalent in gift cards if I would go back, and when I wasted the time and gas doing so, the manager argued with me and would only give me $4 in store credit for an almost $6 dollar drink! Absolutely wrong!!
Beware of miscommunication and magically melting fruit chunks at this location. And don't go back if they offer gift cards or store credit as it's absolutely not worth it. They'll steal from you in every...

This morning, I ordered my coffee via the mobile app for drive-thru pickup. Upon arriving at the menu board, I informed the staff that I was picking up an order for blank and processed to the window.
At the window, the gentleman handed me a drink that was not what I had ordered. He checked the label, acknowledged the mistake, and took the drink back. A minute later, he returned with the same drink, which appeared to have only been topped with sweet cream foam rather than remade.
To avoid holding up the line, I parked and walked inside the store to address the issue. I explained to the cashier that I had ordered a Cold Brew Nondairy Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam, but had originally wanted the white chocolate macadamia cream cold brew, which was out of stock on the mobile app. The cashier kindly explained that they could make it but without the nuts on top, as that was the item out of stock. I agreed and thanked her.
However, when my coffee was ready, a lady held it up to grab my attention, and told me I cannot order something out of stock! I explained that I had not ordered it, and she continued to say they had made the one I originally ordered, which was a mistake as confirmed by the first staff member. She went on a rant until the first staff member got involved. Not only was I reprimanded for accepting a coffee that the cashier offered to make, but the lady who made the coffee was rude and seemed to take her anger out on me! The entire...
Read moreStarbucks has become the mecca of coffee drinkers and cup-o-joe connoisseurs around the world. So it makes sense that this experience would be pleasant as well. I started off entering the store and was greeted by Michelle, who stood behind a clear plexiglass border and took my order (caramel macchiato)and payment with a smile. I think? She had a mask on. A couple of ladies pecked away at their computers and chatted a little with one another. The workers were busy, businesslike and cordial. Merchandise was placed around the store and the dark interior was welcoming and warm. A constant stream of customers came through the store and left with a smile and the aroma of coffee beans trailing behind them. My primary purpose for today's visit was to hook into my wifi and meet with my life coach, Anita Myers at Innerscope365. She's great! Look her up if you'd like. Anywho, onto the rating. I give Starbucks a 5 star rating for quick efficient service in a warm welcoming environment that has served millions of customers with a smile, behind a mask, behind a plexiglass border. So until next time this is Robbie the Review Guy wishing you and yours good eats and...
