This used to be my favorite sandwich place around, but that changed as of yesterday.
I had gotten a $25 gift card to Jersey Mike’s for my birthday 2 days ago, and I drove 40 minutes to get a sandwich. I got a sandwich and a small drink. My total was $9.99. I handed the guy my gift card and he swiped it once and claimed it did not go through so he swiped it again. He asked a girl for help and she didn’t seem to know what was going on either. Then a third time he tried to put it in manually and said “There is $5.02 on here, you owe $4.97.” I said “no I just received this as a gift. There is $25 on there.”
He called the manager over and all he had to say to me was “where did you get this gift card from?” I said “I received it as a gift and it is from Target.” The manager then told me “just take it back to where you got it. you still owe us $4.97.” So I inserted my debit card for the remaining $4.97 which was completely against the reason I came there. I came there to use my gift card. When I left I realized something…the card must have gone through the first two times even before he tried putting it in manually because: $9.99 + $9.99 + $5.02= $25. I called after realizing this and spoke to the manager. I explained. He was rude to me and claimed to check the transaction and said it was cancelled on their end, and did not want to help fix it at all for me. So basically yesterday for a sandwich and a small drink, Jersey Mike’s took $30 from me. I will never go to this...
Read moreThis location’s food is horrible and the customer service is definitely lacking! On different occasions: Ordered to pickup in the store and they never made my sandwich stating for some reason my order didn’t come through but it was completed in the app. I asked them if they gave my sandwich to someone else and was told no, but the was a lied. After standing there for an additional 15 mins she finally asked me what I ordered so it could be made 🤯 I wasn’t mad but definitely irritated because I knew she lied to me. Ordered curbside after a long day of work two different times and each time they made my sandwich how they wanted to make it. I’m not sure why it’s hard to make a simple ham and provolone sandwich but I guess it is 🤷🏾♀️ They literally drowned my sandwich in oil yesterday to the point it was not edible. I didn’t get vinegar this time because last time they drowned my sandwich in vinegar making the sandwich very soggy and inedible. I’m not sure what happened but this use to be a great location and now it sucks. My suggestion to anyone ordering pickup or curbside is to look at your food very good before leaving or don’t order pickup/curbside at all. After yesterday I’ll patronize Jimmy John’s instead. $17-$18 down the drain on a giant sandwich covered in oil. The chips were the only thing...
Read moreMan has this place gone down hill. A year or so ago this was the best sandwich place around, now its a ghost of its former self.
Employees mope around like they don't want to be there, when asking for additional things on your sandwich they make it seem like a chore. They're shouting and laughing and joking around the entire time rather than actually working. Everyone's uniform looks sloppy. Some of the guys have ear buds in. It was ridiculous.
Last time I was there I ordered my sandwiches and then the employees muttered something under their breath to each other and then disappeared into the back room for about 10 minutes with no communication to me. I was just standing there wondering when they would start making the food I just ordered. Eventually a third person came out and starting making my sandwiches, I'm not sure why they needed to wait for her.
Overall terrible experiences as of late, I would give 0 stars if I could. Things need to drastically change for this establishment to get my business again. Until then I'll be holding off and I recommend you go across the street to Pot Belly if you...
