The in store experience was great. The manager Lela and optical assistant Heather are wonderful, extremely helpful and courteous. I give the store a 10 plus. Ask for Lela or Heather to help you. Lela is great with measurements for your glasses and helping you choose them.

My problem is your glass makers and techniques really SUCK! The antiglare reflection film comes off in about 2 months. I can't believe that possibly oil from my face is wearing the film off my glasses. You can see in the photos that the film comes off on the edges. I'm not some Marvel comic character with dangerous skin to wear down glass or chemicals. This is insane. For the past 2 years the same thing has happened. Your quality is awful.

Then I find out through research that EyeMed is owned by the same company that owns Target, Pearle, Lens Crafters that are the in network companies that we have to use. It's like you're double dipping. We pay our expensive premium then buy expensive glasses that are poor quality from your company. I'm so disappointed in EyeMed and will recommend a different vision insurance for the future. I won't get EyeMed again. The staff in Tinley Park are SUPER!!!!

Target DID NOT fix my glasses the second time this happened after only having them 2 months. It will cost me $150 to get new lens from their awful lab. That's not fair. When you pay over $300 for glasses you expect them to last over 2 months without the film on the lens coming off. I have several RayBan glasses from other shops and there is no damage on any of them after wearing them for over 1 year. It's your lab. I've lived in Northwest Indiana my entire life and was thrilled to hear about an Arts & Crafts store (Michael's) coming to the area! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I had to exchange an item recently (coagulated decoupage, ugh!) which they kindly allowed me to do with no problems whatsoever - benevolence at its best, to wit. The store is slightly difficult to navigate if you don't know the layout, but employees are happy to help so it's no big deal. Their selection is amazing. I could get lost for hours at this place; checking out items that appeal to my particular hobbies and feeling inspired to start new ones as well. Michael's is the main location I visit within the HGSC, though I have been to the Potbelly, Game Stop, Target, Kohl's, and Best Buy in the past and received exemplary service from each respectively. In college I recall going to HG's Best Buy location to purchase an external hard drive and the floor guy helped me find exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price. I just decided to replace my old Ashley furniture. The salesperson back then was so impressive that we purchased the whole layout, including the rug. However, on this visit. My husband and I entered the store. Eric was our salesperson. He was very informative on the different theater seat sets. I was so impressed with the carmel colored theater seat set footrest that elevated and the headrest that adjusted to see television. We decided to look around the store at all the sets. We couldn't believe Not One employee spoke to us in passing. My husband politely grabbed my hand to exit the store. I wanted that set 😔.
