As a former McDonald Manager. I live in Bayard and not always I crave for McDonald's but I went today, and I swear this was a nasty place. I truly felt asking for my money back. Their was a lot of wrong reason. It was around 1:30 pm drive thur was packed so I thought I go inside. First thing I notice a crooked line. Nobody knew if you was getting food or waiting to order. Behind the counter I see 2 young girls looking dense like they didn't know what to do or hated their job. Behind the serving line I see sweaty people handling food. So I decided to get my drink. I go to the fountain. By the ice dispenser their was trash open straws lots of ice spilled out. By the ketchup dispenser their was a mound of Ketchup just sitting there. Funny thing was a Manager came by and saw it she left. She only put more straws in the dispenser. Another thing when the order came out one girl was reading the receipt back to the people and her facial expression led me that she hated reading the order out or she just had a hard time reading it. It was so simply to pick up someone else food and walking out with it. Most restaurant write people's name on it. and yell out the customer's name. One guy asked for water at least twice the girl behind the counter yell "need water up front" His food came before the water. The management their is bad. Floor was dirty. I think the owner is too busy counting his money and not watching his business. I know he hired this lady as a Manager from another store but I think her time is up. Or she feels like I don't need to be here. The employees look very filthy not groom at all. If the owner is reading this send someone with a camera and see it for yourself. Read moreIf I could rate this place with zero stars I would! This whole place is dirty. Every single visit here it is dirty. I know that if I have to visit this McDonald's to make sure I don't have to use the restroom. The pop tastes very water down and have a cigarette taste. If you go through the drive through for a pop, make sure you want a pop without ice because that's what you will receive. When they get very busy workers are yelling at each other in the back and ignore other costumers in the front. Today my family and I went through the drive through to get a 6 piece chicken nugget mighty meal for my younger brother. When we got our food we made sure to check that we had nothing missing (they are notorious for forgetting food). We noticed that the fries we got were kids size. That size is not suppose to be for the mighty meal but for the 4 piece meal. We then told the drive through guy that we need small size not kid's extra small fries. The drive through guy then got his manager Micah. Micah was very rude and said to my dad, " what's the problem?" My dad then told him what happened, he then said, " Well we changed that sir and if you have a problem call this number," He then pointed to the drive through window at the customer service number very rudely. He then looked and my dad and pointed at him and said, "Call them if you have a problem." My brother is a Type 1 diabetic who needs carbs to count so we can give him insulin for it. In a 6 piece chicken nugget happy meal the nuggets are 18 carbs and the french fries are 30 carbs. The extra small kids' fries are not 30 carbs. I will not visit this place ever again and my dad will be calling their regional office to let them know what happened. Read more!!UPDATE 7/27/25 WORST EXPERIENCE SO FAR. It took 20+ Minutes to get through the drive through they had every car "pull forward" because the food wasn't ready. There were so many people waiting they just had to randomly park so when the person came out to give out the orders he had to go to each car to figure out what order belonged to who. People were just up and leaving because of how long everything was taking, at least 4 or 5 cars left while I was waiting. Just to add to the issues my order was wrong and the food was hardly warm. You'd expect that taking so long would mean that at least the food was fresh and hot but no. ALSO they increased the prices! Give me a break and do better.
Update 3/5/25 Still extremely hit or miss. French fries still floppy, my hamburger was fine but my nuggets were overcooked and tasted funny because of that. Had breakfast the other day where the hashbrowns were nice and crispy fresh but my egg McMuffin was extremely sad. The muffin was barely warmed up, not toasted, and the egg was overcooked. The service is still very friendly and Melissa who works the drive thru is so sweet. Recommend going to the other McDonald's across town if you can though.
Food seems hit or miss, everything is either hot and fresh or seems like it's been sitting for a while. The fries are always underdone, I wish they would leave them in the fryer for 30 more seconds so they are crispy rather than floppy. The service here is 9/10 times excellent.
