Barro's Pizza — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Placed a phone order for a thin crust pizza(2 toppings on the whole pizza, and 3 Additional toppings on one half) at about 7:41pm tonight. I was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrive at about 8:05pm. I was greeted by a girl at the register and asked if I could be helped. Told her I was picking up an order. She pulled it up and said hang on and ran out the door. She comes back in a minute later and said that she had given the pizza to a door dasher with the same name by accident and she was sorry. She said she’ll have another one made right away. I told her to hang on because wasn’t sure if my gf and I could wait another 20-25 minutes plus drive time for dinner. She said it would take about 10 minutes. I’m hungry and I know my gf is too so I decided to wait. She gives me a 25% discount which was appreciated. So, I wait 15 minutes…pizza finally comes and I head home immediately. I get home and open the box and it does not look like thin crust, at all. My gf tells me she isn’t eating it and goes to bed. I call back at 8:38pm to let the store know that I did not receive what I ordered. Gentleman on the phone assured me that they used the right dough and it could be possible that the press wasn’t working properly…or whatever. He apologizes and gives me an additional 10% that should be refunded to my card. Irritated and hungry I say okay and proceed to eat my “thin crust” pizza while my gf sleeps hungry. Then I realize I paid in cash. What a night…it wasn’t even busy. One 4 top when I arrived and another 5/6 top as I was leaving and no food in the warmers....

My family and I went to Barro's on Monday night. I wanted to order chicken for myself and my daughter. I asked for a 12pc but i wanted a different sauce from my daughter so i asked for 2 sauces. I was advised by the cashier that they dont allow more than one sauce for a 12 pc which i find weird since most wing restaurants do. I then proceeded to ask her for two 6 pieces instead. She then advised me that there will be an extra charge for a different sauce even for two 6 pieces. What??? That is so RIDICULOUS! She said that it's because then they only sauce a few wings at a time, they waste product. There is nothing posted that shows an upcharge for a different sauce. That is not ok. The young lady explained that the owner doesnt allow them to do 2 sauces for a 12 pc and the system doesnt allow her to. Ok that's fine but to charge me extra for two separately plated 6 pieces in the same order for two different people is insane. Its not about the money but the principle. I only ordered one 6 piece since my daughter really wanted to eat. My mom went and talked to her and she then told my mom that she is willing to ring up two 6 pieces and not do the extra charge. My mom said maybe she didnt understand me. I told her no. She understood exactly what i was saying and she specifically told me that there's an extra charge if i order two 6 pieces of different flavors....

I was very surprised about trying to get a delivery from Barrow's pizza. But the real problem behind why. I just decided not to purchase anything from that location. 2515 East Scottsdale road in Scottsdale unit 12. The person that works on a Sunday which was today at 5 PM shift. She answered the phone in a very rude sarcastic. And very unprofessional manner of. Working customers So if That somebody Who is the one that reads these reviews deserve to hear? And actually I think I have a sit down with this person involved on Sunday at 5 o'clock. PM at 2515 East Coast elk road unit deserve to be questions on. The manner I'm bringing up. I felt like I was talking to some stranger. I've never met my life. I've didn't care anything about my well-being and she still happened to be a very unprofessional. Sorry that I just had to come to this. But I hope everything works out. I'll never order from that...
