Corleone's — Restaurant in Scottsdale

We, with others, etc - have had pickup and deliveries since my last review, and I have been so busy, and literally backlogged on my reviews for months now,.. But wow - THIS NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED AGAIN NOW!!!!

Needed a quick dinner, from the long day/evening, and ordered thru 3rd party delivery,.. Only to afterwords see that they were literally closing in a few minutes! We figured it would be a cancelled order, so we promptly began searching for somewhere else to order an asap dinner NOWWW! !Nope! No such need in this situation with Corleone's tonite! We were blessed and totally lucked out!! BEST SANDWICHES we've had from there, which we never thought they could make them any better than they already are!!

The meat has such flavor, that perfectly goes with their OMG GRILLED ONIONS THAT LITERALLY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!!!! I am not sure how they even made it to our place without dissolving into the sandwich! I am DEFINITELY NOT a CHEESE WHIZ person! I actually ordered my 1st sandwich from here with it on the side! But, I very quickly realized that noooo, it needs to be on it when made!

“Ihave been a weekly customer at your Northsight shop for the past 2 years since relocating from Philadelphia. Your cheesesteak‘s are the closest to what I have grown up eating. Tonight I ordered 2 cheesesteaks with Mozzarella cheese and fried onions. What I received was a steak sandwich with something dripping out of the sandwich. I am assuming it is Corleone's version of Wiz. I was told to drive back to scottsdale with the dripping sandwiches in order to receive a refund. I live in Desert Ridge and was not driving down the 101 a second time this evening. If you would like to see pictures of the sandwiches Before they were thrown into the trash please let me know. Used to come here often when I lived nearby and always remembered it being pretty solid. Today I was in the area and decided to stop by for some nostalgia. No line and only a table of two present. Ordered the regular steak combo with self serve sweet peppers. The food came out fast, but unfortunately, the flavor just wasn’t there this time. The fries were crispy, but something still felt a bit off. Don’t want to sound too bad, even ice tea fountain drink was dispensing oddly. But same large sandwich if you opted for the regular.. easily shareable. Prices everywhere have gone up.. and let’s be real, they’re not coming down. With so many lunch options around now, I’m not sure I’d make the trip again. Just didn’t hit for me...
