I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hummus Republic, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations for a fast food restaurant. Great food! Great manager! Nic was AMAZING - walked me through their ways of handling some of my native foods and was impressed with his knowledge! He even handled some foul mouth wanna be debutante who works there with professionalism and class on SEVERAL occasions

Sadly it appears he is a handcuffed general manager who is not given the rights to hire and fire, otherwise I would hope people of her type would have been LONG gone.

That being said when he is not around its hard to give this a 1 star establishment... this girl apparently has everyone believing she is what she believes because the place completely changes when only she and not Nic is there. When he is not there he attempts to quash the majority of the conversations which she begins and other staff join in on so they can be "cool too." There are MANY times topics that would never ever even be discussed in private let alone in public in my home country are discussed and would NEVER be tolerated.

I tell all my friends and family to call ahead and see if Nic is working... to see if this place warrants YOUR business. I understand this is America and you have your own religious values but this is a MEDITERRANEAN fair and with that comes expectations thay at least some decency would be expected by more than one manager (now that it seems the only other good manager is gone. Im sorry I never got her name.)

Luckily another will be opening soon near my work, according to the website, supposedly. Maybe they will transfer Nic, and the other good staff, like this other female manager I never see anymore... or maybe rehire her, so I can eat in peace and leave the debutante to trash this one or transfer her and the riff raff out to the other and bring back the female manager, and I can eat in peace with my extended family, without the foul mouthed "debutante" to ruin...

Delicious, healthy Mediterranean food! Love the wide array of vegan/vegetarian options. The wrap I ordered tasted so fresh and flavorful. It was massive too! I'm pretty picky about falafels and their falafels are perfectly spiced, slightly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.

The whole place feels very new and it was pretty clear the staff were still being trained (ex: my father asked if the "street mix" had a lot of garlic in it due to a sensitivity he has, to which the employee said "no, not much" then we found it was almost entirely made up of whole, sautéed garlic cloves lol). However, everyone was very nice and friendly! I loved how they labeled the sauces and the bases on the line, but would love even more if they labeled all of the toppings as well.
