Thai Chili 2go — Restaurant in Scottsdale

My first time visiting Thai Chili 2go. Alexis S worked register and overcharged me. When I got the receipt and saw i was charged for a drink I asked for a refund. She said she thought I ordered a drink and no manager was on duty so she couldn't issue me a refund. I said I shouldn't have been charged for the drink, please call a manager to issue my refund. I've never been to a place that refuses a refund for overcharging you on their part. She had someone call and they said they could not assist. She then reluctantly took my name down on back of receipt and said they would call me when a manager was in. I asked for another copy of receipt for myself and for manager names. She wouldn't give me names at first. Then I got two names, again reluctantly. After sitting and waiting about 10 min on my food I got up and asked if she said they would be calling me for the refund. She said "yes." So I asked how they would call (since she didn't take my number down). She didn't say anything, walked away, and came back with a receipt and asked for my number then. There was never an apology (except at first with a half hearted scoffing "sorry, I thought that's what you ordered" when I had asked for a cup for water) nor an offer of credit for next time, or any attempt to make things right.

As I'm sitting down eating I hear her go to the back and speak to three young men in the kitchen about me quite loudly. I went back to the register as I heard this where I could see the guys laughing when they saw me there staring. When she came back up I asked if that will also be reported. She said she was just saying what happened, even though she was speaking poorly of me very loudly. The guys switched to spanish in the kitchen. I didnt hear everything they said, but i am bilingual. It was a terrible experience. I lost my appetite after hearing her speak about me to the point anyone in the restaurant could hear. I threw out over half my food. I won't...

Noodle-driven fare served in a nice mini- bucket/ on the side a box is checked indicating your degree of spice-hotness, from plain to mild to hot to thai hot.

I ordered noodles with onions mild with chicken which was pretty good, but I'm glad they put hoi-sen sauce on side as it needed it for flavor. Next time I may go a little hotter...

My friend ordered a shrimp chow mein which was a redo to get adequate vegetables and shrimp. Ray, the manager really did a fine job in making it right. She was basically happy with her meal and the side of dumplings were good.

I really like noodles, so I was most pleased by my $9 dish. She paid $12 for hers as shrimp adds $3.

All in all, I need to try more items to get a better assessment. Manuel and Kathy were super! I will be going back for sure, my friend not so much. If you want vegetables like in the picture on coupon, maybe ask for extra Extra EXTRA, or you will get a dish mostly noodles. You can be very specific as to what you want, the entire staff is patient and kind.

I love the noodles and will be using my other coupon for $2 off and go a bit more spicy. And add hoi sen sauce...it makes the moodles perk up. Also you can get side rice noodles ( flat, white) , or egg . (ramen style golden color) for only $1.

I added the sauce and paste they have to side dollar noodles, and ordered 3 for leftovers...good deal. They only STEAM these though, so don't forget to get some sauce or hot paste on side I recommend.
