McDonald's — Restaurant in Scottsdale

WOW! I have not ate here in decades, because the food is such a nightmare! Beyond disgusting and horrifying taste that would leave you cringing with the after taste in your mouth that you ran to get the Scope and rinse out that nasty after taste!

But they have stepped up! Now they are back to the a great flavor in their burgers, they still have their dehydrated onions! I thought that would change, but it was in their burgers over 50 years ago also. But I don't know if this is a signature thing of theirs or what? But it's not all that bad. Their cheeseburger is always hot and fresh and they are juicy again! It's about time that they went back to the fieashness again! And you can get a great cheeseburger for just a single dollar💲, now that is a shocker!

Now I did try their chicken strips, the BBQ ones. I was extremely disgusted what this nasty flavor that it had! It was a very soggy breading, soaked in barbecue sauce! That just made the whole thing worthless to even eat! I literally gag down about 1/2 of a strip and the rest went to the trash. There was about 10 of us just looking at it and everyone's face was in disgust look! Oh don't go for the chicken, it is so nasty!

Now for the drinks, how hard it is to mess up a soda? Theirs were calibrated to perfection, the best price is only 99 cent for whatever size you want in sodas. I Also tried their Mocha iced coffee. Now this is so tasty, that I have bought several of these coffee drinks. But don't go for the Carmel, because it will ruin the whole drink! They have a Carmel that does not taste like Carmel at all and it leaves a strange after taste in your mouth, that you don't want to go their with it at all!

I have also tried their shakes, now they are very tasty! Very thick and cold too! But what scares me with the shake, after it is getting warm it is still thick! What is the deal with this? A thick shake at room temperature! There is really something wrong with this all together! It can't be ice-cream, because it does not melt what so ever! I am not going for the second one for sure! This is beyond scary all together! Go ahead and try the chemical shake lol and you don't have to worry about it melting!

I did not give this place a low score because of the food. It is because the staff and there is a lot of them! 85% of them did not know what they were doing! Extremely terrible service all of the times I have been there! And the ones who may know what to do are very extremely rude! I am going to locate another McDonald's and see if I can get much better service and to see if the burgers are good there too. But I will not try their shakes that is for sure because that is not dairy it is a off the wall substance and...

My recent visit to McDonald's #21717 located at 1516 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, was unfortunately marred by a deeply disappointing experience. I took my daughters to this specific branch for ice cream, and our ordeal unfolded as follows:

We initially placed our order through the kiosk, which seemed to go smoothly. However, our excitement turned to frustration when we were informed that the ice cream machine wasn't working. I approached the cashier at this specific McDonald's location and politely inquired about a refund for our order.

Regrettably, our request for a refund was met with a prolonged delay and a lack of interest. It took an extended period for the branch manager to address our concern, even though we had been waiting for our order all this time. When the manager finally did arrive, her response was far from satisfactory. Instead of swiftly resolving the issue, she asked if we wanted anything else.

In response to my daughters' continued hopes for a treat, we requested cinnamon pie. However, we were given cookies instead. When we pointed out the mistake, the manager provided a vague response and simply turned her back, ignoring our request.

This experience was not only a waste of our time but also emotionally disappointing for both me and my daughters. We did not want to create a scene, and it felt as if the staff at McDonald's #21717, 1516 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, took advantage of our patience. Their attitude, characterized by a lack of communication and an unwillingness to rectify mistakes, was truly disheartening.

Rather than seeking a refund, my hope is that this specific McDonald's branch addresses its operational issues and hires more professional staff who can provide better customer service. It is imperative that establishments like McDonald's maintain a higher standard of service and courtesy toward their patrons, especially at locations...

Yesterday evening my vehicle broke down in the Walgreens parking lot that also shares with McDonald’s. While waiting for the tow truck I stopped in the McDonald’s on two occasions one to purchase a medium drink and the other to purchase a value meal. Both times I was in there all of the staff was very unfriendly and would not even say hello. I eat my meal outside by my truck. Once I was done I went over to the dumpster and threw my McDonald’s cup into the door that was a jar. Across the parking lot a lady who called herself a manager told me I cannot throw things in that dumpster. There are no signs anywhere that say that. After I notified her that I had just thrown away a cup that was from their establishment she became very rude and felt the need to verbally braid me even as I walked away back to my truck. When I saw her for her second smoke break in 30 minutes I walked up to her and asked for the email address of the regional manager or whoever was in charge. She notified me there was no one above her and not to bother. Yup she would not give me her name and told me I was no longer welcomed at this McDonald’s. I never said anything threatening in any way shape or form. I highly believed she deserves to be fired or at the very least demoted to where she is not in charge of any kind of customer assistance decision making. This treatment was highly uncalled for and I am taking time out of my life to make sure I go up the chain of command with McDonald’s so that the proper management is aware of how this particular McDonald’s is...
