Poke Bar — Restaurant in Scottsdale

This is simply the best poke in the valley. I know, because I've tried many, many places here. Since this new chef has taken over, he has ensured the highest quality of fish. This fish is so good that I now just order a bowl of fish and rice with nothing else, simply because the quality is that high that I want to eat it like sushi on rice with no sauce needed. You don't have to do this for yourself, but I point it out because it really is that good. I've been eating this delicious food for many months as my regular lunch.

Additionally, the restaurant offers REAL premium wasabi. I can't find this in literally any other restaurant in the valley, which instead uses the standard green horseradish.

Finally, the chef takes great pride in his restaurant and treats his customers with attention and respect. Normally I don't write reviews but when the effort is so clearly high, I feel compelled to support such a great small business...

I LOVE Poke Bar! I went so much when it opened but I did stop going as often as I had because the portions continue to decrease as the price continues to increase. That hasn't completely stopped me but I have gone from being a regular (once or twice a week) to going maybe once every other month.

One way to make customers feel that there is more value would be to make a meal deal (just include a drink). I feel the prices are just a touch high compared to other places I have been. Perhaps instead of scoops they could do the fish portion by ounces. I am not sure what the solution is but it has been discouraging.

The building itself is well kept and very clean. The staff is wonderful and very kind. They will always answer any and all questions you have which is appreciated. They also have a nice seating area right outside if you want to enjoy...

Dear gentlemen at poke bar, just today someone recommended this place and I thought, 'I should definitely check it out'. Then I got a flat tire on the 101, and the next 2.5 hrs sucked. Then I saw I was less than a 1/2 mile from you, and even after spending a painful amount of money on a tire, I decided it was meant to be. Being that I like to eat my feelings, I am now sitting here enjoying your beautiful...perfect, actually... creation and my day is so much less awful! Plus you guys were exceptionally nice, and patient (my first visit). Thanks for being awesome. To the guys working at 3ish on Wed 3/08, I hope someone gives y'all a raise. You saved the day.
