Rice Garden — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Years ago were used to eat here weekly because we worked very close. Tried it again yesterday when we were in the area and my gosh this place has gone downhill. The food is terrible and the rice tasted like dirty city water. Very disappointing to say the least. We were extremely excited to try the food again and ended up throwing 90% of it away. The portions have also shrunk considerably. You are better off going to Panda Express the food is better and you get a bigger portion for less money. Unfortunately this seems to be a repetitive pattern at all eateries these days the food and quality tanks while prices raise.

This was our first time ordering from Rice Garden. The online ordering was so simple. We ordered ahead for pickup and our food was ready when we got there. We ordered the small beef and broccoli, small kung pao chicken, small orange chicken, egg rolls, small egg fried rice and crab puffs. Everything was delicious with the exception of the orange chicken. It was so over cooked that I think the chicken was cooked out of it. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Yeah this was my last time ever having this place, the old Asian man was in an obviously bad mood, counted out my change and set it on the counter, literally coins on the counter, I see the other reviews and it sounds like this place no longer employees people who have any interest in being friendly.
