What happened to this place? We used to love it here, however that changed with our visit on 5/21/25. The food was absolutely inedible: POWDERED eggs, at a cost of two for nearly $10. We're talking lowest grade institutional powdered eggs that might be served in a prison facility. Frankly I cannot honestly attest to the fact that ANY "real" eggs were used in the preparation of this meal. The turkey sausage, which in the past was very tasty and in "link" form, has now been replaced by non-descript grey patties that resemble something an animal might have left on the roadside. Given the taste of these, I cannot honestly attest that any REAL meat was used in the preparation either. Nor can I absolutely attest that they were not made by an animal. My "hash browns" were literally large cubes (1.5"x1.5"x1.0") of flash-fried potatoes that were "institutional" in their appearance (and taste) as well. Frankly nothing we were served even resembled the very good breakfast food we had received during at least a dozen previous visits, over the last two years. I know that things are tough in the restaurant business, but if this is how far you've been forced to capitulate do yourself (and the paying public) a favor and simply go out of business. Unquestionably the worst meal I ever had in a restaurant - by a wide margin. Your staff were extremely kind and eager to please. The coffee was good. But to have the nerve to charge $33.00+ for the swill labeled four "eggs", two orders of "turkey sausage", one order of toast and two medium coffees that we received, is tantamount to theft.
It gives me no pleasure to have to be so critical, however I am simply being truthful. Your once proud restaurant that we enjoyed immensely and recommended to all of our friends should cease to exist. I am sorry...
Read moreUPDATE: PHOTO ADDED This review is from August 2020. I’ve just recently added the photo of what my dish looked like.
I’ve been coming to different Wildflower Bread Company locations for over fifteen years.
Today, I ordered the pesto chicken linguini pasta. This is a dish I’ve had at least one hundred times over the years. It’s normally a good dish.
Today, I received what looked and tasted like chicken pesto linguini soup. There was so much sauce that a lot of the ingredients were floating in the dish. Also, my garlic toast was burnt pretty bad and didn’t taste very good. Frankly, the dish was very disappointing today and not worth the money.
On another note, I came to pick up a to go order at this location yesterday. They usually stage the to go orders for customers to pick up by a table next to the kitchen and registers.
Well, yesterday I walked over to the to go area and said I was picking up an order and gave them my name. The manager made snyde comment and said, “It’s over there. You walked right past it.” His tone was pretty snotty and sarcastic.
Now, apparently the “new pickup area” is the long table in front of the entrance. No signing. No labeling.
Just a heads up, if you are trying to minimize people contact during a pandemic, it’s probably not a good idea to put the to go pick up area in a high traffic area next to the entrance, but what do I know. Yeah, I guess I’m the idiot...
While we’re on the subject of pandemic operations for businesses... my dish was horrible today. If a business can’t even do the bare basics with a limited menu, then maybe I should eat somewhere else. Apparently, this business does not need repeat customers...
Read moreWildflower is the best. I haven't had a chance to try all of the many tasty dishes that are available but I've never been disappointed by the ones I've had. Their baked goods are especially delicious and the pancakes are yummy. I only wish they had the breakfast items all day. The chocolate chip cookies are perfection. Same goes for the muffins. Updated 4/30/25: I stand by what I said before and I have now gotten to try all of the muffins they have. (Yes, I have an obsession with baked goods, I'm aware... but Scottsdale doesn't have a chapter of Pastry Eaters Anonymous yet so 🤷♀️) Anyhow, I highly recommend the Pumpkin Chocolate and Carrot Spice Muffins. The blueberry sour cream muffin is excellent as well, it's just a matter of your personal preferences. My mom is a huge fan of their Cranberry Scone for example, but I'm not big on cranberry so 💁♀️ The staff is beyond amazing and I have nothing but praise for Wildflower and it's Scottsdale Seville location in particular. ❤️❤️💯 Updated August 20th 2025: This place just gets better with each visit! The customer service is beyond amazing 👏 I can't think of anything that compares to the kindest, friendliest and most welcoming staff I've ever seen ❤️ thank you guys @ScottsdaleSeville for all your...
