Perspire Sauna Studio — Local services in Scottsdale

I admit this place is nice. However, I was told several things when I signed up as a founding member and come to find out none of it was accurate.

The first thing I was told was that it’s covered by an HSA plan, but it was not. Since it’s considered “wellness”, my HSA did not cover it.

The next thing I was told was that my monthly credits rolled if I didn’t use them, and I agree they did roll. However, I was also told I wouldn’t lose them when I had to put my contract on hold either but all my accrued credits, 9 to be exact, were taken away from me. I had to put my contract on hold since I didn’t want to continue to accrue further credits since I found it hard to come during the holidays due to family issues. When I was ready to return, ALL 9 credits were lost.

So don’t ever build up credits cause they will be happy to take your money, and take away your credits. Why would I continue to build credits knowing I would not be able to make it that month? Especially when I already had 9 credits in my queue.

My husband and i enjoyed a 40-minute trial session of Perspire's infrared sauna thanks to yelpphoenix. Maureen, the owner, was very welcoming and gave us a tour and great explanation of benefits. We had our own private room with area to change and leave personal belongings. Then we stepped into the sauna that was already set to a typical setting of 130° and the light bar set to a relaxing violet hue that I had picked when scheduling my appointment online.
