this is for the owner, Ive come to your restaurant for over 5 years almost once a month at least brought family friends throughout the years know every waitress when someone new is there and Ive known the manager i think a fair skinned lady talk to her everytime even bring my baby there for the past 2 years, ive always liked the food, but after today I will NEVER go back after this experience, the curry beef tasted not fresh this is the first time I have ever had any food I thought tasted just like old or not fresh, I did say something to the server and she said to me other tables have had this and they all said it was fresh which to me was a very STRANGE response, if your customer says the food doesnt taste right then you should take the food back, I never really said anything refunding the money back but they did say they would refund half the money back although we didnt eat any of it bc I didnt want to get my kid sick, Im writing this review not bc of the food but bc of the response I got from the staff and particularly the manager, I have NEVER sent food back and I told them Ive been coming for 5 years to my suprise the one waitress said I did once I ordered a roll and got another roll and I had told them that it was not the roll I ordered but it was not bc the food was not fresh and I was surprised that they had even brought this up when it might have been 2 years ago. So your staff had been each time maybe secretly remembered this and served me the aged meat? maybe it was on purpose. your manager then came by and said I dont care whether you come back or not and I dont care what you say about the food,
I asked her name and she wouldnt tell me so she knows she was wrong for what she said due to this I will never go to this restaurant or ever recommend the place to anyone, its not about the 18.00 for the beef curry I have spent thousands of dollars there over the 5 years so I think your staff is not only extremely low class but the whole place has lost appeal.
I want to let you now because this will only hurt your business if your staff discriminates against customers I noticed the people next to us got service while we waited over 10 minutes and no one even came by to our table we had to ask someone for water
its fine if you only want certain people to frequent there and others not but if you don't want a bad reputation I suggest that you train the staff to treat their loyal customers that go there every month with some respect
best of luck to your restaurant, honestly I wouldn't trust your staff to spit in the food or something if I went again, that is how low class I think they are for the way that they handled the situation. I would not ever spend a dollar there. Since they told me that they do not want my business and showed me exactly how disgusted they were with me I definitely would never recommend or ever bring anyone to that establishment,
I am very embarrassed to have brought family there during thanksgiving to such a place to be treated like trash, my mom said the beef tasted very unfresh and I tasted it too and did agree, not only did your staff basically tell us they didnt care but also told us they didnt care if we came back or not as if they really didnt want us there at all
I didnt know it was ok to discriminate against people from eating there but definitely will look into a lawyer about being treated this way I really suggest you fire your manager there and she knows who she is and find someone that will not discriminate against their customers and only serve the people they like. Trust me I will never spend a dime there or ever recommend this place to anyone again. if you dont want my business you definitely will never get it anything but a bad...

Read moreThis is one of our favorite restaurants in the valley. We live in Chandler but we drive there almost every weekend. We are happy they have an elegant new place now, compared to Sushi Ken, which has been sold and operated by new owners. Their sushi and sashimi is always big and full, compared to other Japanese restaurants in the valley. We like to order their specials and those are big portions with that price. My son loves their eel avocado rolls, and their eels are always the biggest. They are very generous in this part and we appreciate it. Their bento box is another thing that can save you lots of money. You can choose three different entrees and it comes with some side dishes. Usually we have to ask for a to go box in the end because it is so hard to finish it! Pork katsu is another highlight there. I haven’t heard of anyone complain about it so far. Everyone loves it! I read some people complaining that this is not a child friendly restaurant. I know some people would feel offended, but I have to say they are always very friendly to my children, who are five and one year old now. The female owner and one of their waitress like chatting with my five year old son, and he likes them very much. My one year old would cry or make some noise occasionally while we are dining, but they never show any displeasure. Actually they are very compassionate about it. I think they put out that sign because they are really bothered by those who don’t look after their own kids at all. They don’t want kids mess up their beautiful little garden in the front and that’s totally understandable to me. Isn’t it a general manner everywhere? Anyway... it is a good restaurant and it is always busy during peak hours, so making a reservation before you go can save...
