Shun Feng — Restaurant in Seabrook

A tiny hole in the wall place - if you blink- you'll miss it. This restaurant is located attached to a Dunks on Lafayette Road in Seabrook, NH. I grew up on the Northshore but have lived in the area for a decade now. One of the first things we did as soon as we moved to Northern Massachusetts was try to find a Chinese food joint to here that actually makes their food like they do on the Northshore. We found one place almost immediately- and have stuck with them for the last 9 years. Until recently bc they suddenly changed the manner in which they cook the food and so now it is the same as all of the other places nearby. Our New Years tradition is to order a ton of Chinese food, though, and we found ourselves back at square one. We decided to give this place a try this time, and although the food was "alright"- it definitely could be better. Especially the employees' attitudes. I called to place a delivery order and was informed that the price of my order was more than what I added it up to be. I know there is tax and most likely a delivery fee, but I was still way off so I asked the girl over the phone to go over the prices with me which she did the prices online have not been updated and God knows how long. I didn't end up getting food from them and ended up getting food from somewhere else because for one they wouldn't deliver just an order of Pork Lo Mein and two I couldn't justify spending more money just for them to deliver literally two miles down the street. Had my car not been in the shop I would have just gone there and picked up the food but that was not the case. The food USED to be great. HOWEVER, The last two times I went there my food was prepared by two young boys looked about 20s who couldn’t care less about the food or service. I ordered my food at the window and the man who took my order had to call for these boys to show up in the kitchen three times with no success. Then he had to go get them from wherever they were. One was cooking at the stove and the other was continually texting or playing on his phone while my eggrolls were being over cooked at the Fryolator.
