I have gone to Buffalo Wild Wings when it first opened in Seaside and it was such a great vibe with very energetic people working there. When I arrived on Saturday February 4th it was a totally different reception it was around 5:30pm and the restaurant had very few people in the bar and dining area, which was very surprising. We waited at the door for a few minutes and was greeted by a male, who asked us how many which we told him three people. We requested to sit in the bar area and he indicated it would be a ten minute wait? Which I was surprised to since the place was basically empty. I questioned this and he indicated he wanted his server to get caught up with her tables. Another party came in right behind us and they got seated immediately so I questioned this and he said they wanted to sit in the dining room area, which he had immediate sitting, which was never conveyed to us. I did write to Buffalo Wild Wings Corporate office, but never heard back from them. I truly believe the person at your front door should be the highest level of trained in Customer Service, since this person in controlling your cash register. He could have easily sat us at a table and offered to get us a water or given us the menus to review and then tell us your server would be with you soon, which was much better than letting us sit in the lobby area. We did end up leaving and went to another place which gave us immediate service even though they were close to full capacity. Buffalo Wild Wings you can do better, just trained you staff better on...
Read moreNot my first experience at this location. Probably not the last. B-Dubs has one major thing going for it, it’s consistency. One always knows what to expect from their wings and it rarely, ever deviates. The low lit ambiance, coupled with the testosterone fueled televisions create an experience where boredom is the enemy and viewing options are the street dealers.
The staff always seem courteous and professional. The restrooms had some litter on the floor, but that’s to be expected when the clientele are beer guzzling, men turned boys, screaming at the televisions with team loyalty.
One bit of advice, order off the online menu/app if at all possible. That’s where the best deals are and lowest prices. Don’t believe me? We forgot to order a drink for my wife. She ordered a soda. It cost $4.49 FOR A DRAFT SODA. On the app, it’s 1.99. You could literally order two online for the price of one in store and have nearly fifty cents left over! When we brought that to the staff’s attention, while apologetic, there was ‘nothing they could do about it’ It’s those types of shady price differences that disintegrate brand loyalty. There are plenty of places to watch sports, eat wings, and have beer. BWW isn’t so high in the mountaintop of quality that they can afford to disenfranchise their customers. Especially in an economy where people no longer have discretional income.
Btw. I’ve had nearly every hot sauce featured on YouTube’s Hot Ones show. The Blazin Knockout from BWW’s will remind you the next day just how hot it was originally....
Read moreThe restaurant itself is excellent, with a wide variety of delicious beers and dishes. However, it seems that there is a need for overall staff training.
While it may be understandable that cuisines can take some time to prepare, why should a customer have to wait for 10-15 minutes for their beer after placing an order?
Moreover, when we ordered a kids' meal, it came out after the adults had already finished their meals. Additionally, the portion size of the kids' menu is too small compared to other restaurants.
It is extremely difficult to get the attention of servers. They are not readily visible, and it is as though they are playing a game of "hide and seek." When I needed an additional glass of beer, the server was missing for 20minutes.
Servers do not handle basic requests, such as removing or adding specific ingredients, properly. Additionally, when asked for forks for us, they brought an incorrect number, and when additional forks were requested, they took a long time to bring them. (10 minutes)
So, when I received the receipt, I doubted it, and my group began to weigh what we had eaten one by one. we were wondering if that server paid for our order. As expected, there was an minor error.
It is difficult to understand why they would allow guests to enter only when the entire party has arrived, given the slow service.
I absolutely love the food, beer, and atmosphere. However, I am disappointed with the overall service provided by the staff. I am wondering if they are...
