Locally owned food and specialty drink cafe. It was so fun to be able to create our own Boba concoctions. Then, they put it into containers that she (Bee) sealed up right before our eyes. It was so delicious. We had the option of milk, soy, oat, or almond. All our different concoctions were delicious. We also tried the food. We absolutely love the brussels sprouts that had a kimchi butter. Our vegan eater loved the fried tofu. We also enjoyed the grilled chicken satay. We plan to go back soon to try more meals, including the stirfry. The owners were very tuned in to our eating needs and dietary restrictions. Congo Go was super clean and spacious. We recommend it for a healthy and delicious meal. Also, there are a variety of sweets for those who like to indulge.

Casual Asian styled eats along with milk tea. This place is really good, and as an added plus it's a locally owned shop with lots of passion behind it! I tried their milk tea, which was great, though I do recommend for people who don't have a real sweet tooth to order the "less sweet" option for the tea. The normal Thai tea option has a lot of delicious caramelized brown sugar flavor, one of the best on the peninsula for sure. On my first visit I had the popcorn chicken and the satay, popcorn chicken was light and crispy and next level. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu for sure!

I’ve always wanted to try this spot whenever I’m in Monterey, and I’m so glad I finally did. I ordered the grilled beef satay; it was absolutely delicious, and I’m a huge fan of lemongrass! I also tried their Vietnamese iced coffee, which came in a cool tall can; such a nice touch. I initially thought this was just a café serving drinks, but it’s actually a full restaurant offering Cambodian food. I even got to meet the owner and their family; super friendly and attentive. I’ll be back for round two; there’s so much more I want to try!

We were craving boba and decided to give Congo Go a try. The thing I loved the most is that they make their syrups and boba fresh in house. That's literally unheard of given today's quick serve world and makes boba a lot more guilt free knowing it's NOT loaded with a ton of high fructose corn syrup and other processed items.

They also make their snacks and desserts in house, from scratch too. We loved the crispy egg rolls (full of flavor and made with healthier turkey), popcorn chicken and the fresh made mochi donuts. We've had mochi donuts from popular chains in past and these were in a different league! The dough was soft and chewy and the matcha glaze was melty and warm.

The chef / owner and staff are super friendly and takes their time to talk through their menu and make recommendations. They are planning to bring more authentic food options soon. I'll definitely be back to try that and more...

My husband got the Vietnamese coffee and I got the Lavender Yuzu with tapioca (WHICH IS MADE FROM SCRATCH!). Also picked up a matcha mochi donut! Drink flavors were robust but not overwhelming. Love the fact that we have mochi donuts in the Monterey Penninsula now! The matcha flavor was very concentrated, which I love! It's hard to find matcha that doesn't taste diluted.

What I really heartened me was that the co-owners Vi and Tia are really down-to-earth and got to know us as humans. Loved hearing their story about working from the bottom up within the hospitality industry to owning their own small business! We'll be back for dinner and a crowd of friends to continue to support your efforts!

Genuine flavors, ingredients, and lots of love at...
