BoBu Pizzeria is one of my new favorite spots in Seattle for lunch! It is the most adorable drive-through I have ever seen! As someone who’s been following the team since La Rocca (which earned its spot literally as the best pizzerias in the city), I had high expectations—and BoBu more than delivers!!! The pizzas here are exactly what you’d hope for: beautifully made, with quality ingredients and a phenomenal technique behind them. The Margherita is my go-to—it is so delicious and spot-on. The crust has that ideal balance of fluffiness, light chew and wood-fired crispness, the tomato sauce is fresh, and the mozzarella and basil are always just perfect. What surprised me, though, is how good the sandwiches are. I’m a big pesto lover, and the BoBu Green sandwich is something I’d go out of my way for—the perfect blend of mozzarella, prosciutto, chicken, and basil, all layered on really, really good bread. It’s obvious they put as much care into their sandwich menu as they do their pizza.
The service is friendly, efficient, and professional. The staff knows the menu well and is always helpful with recommendations. The space is adorable, with colorful umbrellas shading the patio. It’s warm and welcoming—great for takeout or a relaxed lunch. They also have a to-die-for calzone and the best pretzels you’ll find anywhere!
If you’ve been to La Rocca, you’ll feel the same craftsmanship here, but BoBu has its own character. This is the kind of neighborhood pizzeria you root for and one I’ll keep coming back to.

Read morePizza drive-thru. Such a simple yet amazing concept. This places produce delicious, thick Sicilian style pizza slabs. Hot, melted cheese, fresh ingredients, rich flavors. Amazing prices. 5 to 7 dollars per slab -- it's not fair to call them slices because they are just remarkable in size and girth -- incredible value. Drive thru.
This is my second time visiting. It was raining today as it was the first day that I tried this pizza drive through and the take out boxes they came in were perfectly suited to keeping the slabs hot and dry as I traveled with them. Drive thru.
And each large slab is sliced in half. What you're seeing in the photos are three slabs. The friend I was seeing was vegetarian and I was delighted to discover they had over four types of vegetarian slabs I could pick from. I chose the mushroom slice, the Primavera slice, and the margarita slice. Pizza drive-thru.
For rainy season in Seattle, and on a budget? I'm not sure it...
Read moreGot a pepperoni pizza. I hate to say this, but you're better off with Domino's or even Little Caesars, BOTH have better pizza than this and you could get more pizza for the same price. The crust is closer to sandwich bread than pizza crust, the cheese is mediocre and stringy, the pepperoni tasteless, and the sauce just kinda nasty. It didn't even smell good, which is crazy to me for a pizza.
The place is also labelled with a drive-through, but you can't actually drive through? I mean, you can pull in and around near the counter with your car, but the spot where they give you the pizza is like six feet off the ground so you HAVE to get out of your car to get the pizza unless you're in some ridiculous mega-truck. It's not a big deal, it's just... not a...
