This seems like a relatively new Italian spot. My wife and I dined in and had a small Aloha pizza and the Penne Boscaiola pasta.
Food: my wife loved her pasta she said it was delicious. The pizza on the other hand was good but not the best. The crust was missing something. I think it could have been crispier. The toppings were great! The pineapple was sweet and tasted pretty good. They also put the ham underneath the cheese which made the pizza 10 times better IMO. I wish they would have chopped up the ham though. The slices of ham were too large and required me to work more to avoid sliding all the cheese off. Overall the pizza was good.
Service: The waiter and what seemed to be the manager was very attentive to us. They made sure we were happy with our meal and satisfied. They were really welcoming and nice.
Atmosphere: pretty good. They had some Italian music playing in the background. It's a very small restaurant but they have in door and outdoor seating.
Overall, a great little restaurant to enjoy some Italian food. Definitely deserves a chance.
Update:
Ordered from here again. Once again my wife loved her pasta. I got my self a different pizza. The crust definitely improved but not a lot. Sadly the ham was still not chopped up into smaller pieces. #cuttheham. Overall great eat 👍.
Update #2: Ordered delivery from here again. Got myself a chicken Parmigiana sub. It was great! The portion was massive. I should have only ate half of it but it was too good. Also got myself garlic fries. Amazing fries and they actually taste like garlic. Definitely keep up the...
Read moreWe were actually headed to a different restaurant in Greenwood, when we saw the sign for this place. We had never noticed it before, and we were curious, so we decided to stop in. At first it looked like it was maybe only a takeout joint, but you walk in, And there's a charming little four table set up just inside the door. Shortly thereafter, we found out there was also an enclosed patio on the side of the building with even more seating.
The menu look delicious, the wine is a good price, and we decided to stick around and have all whole shebang. Every single thing we had was delicious. No kidding, from the focaccia and marinara opener, to the cheese stuffed meatballs appetizer, to the Cobb salad and lasagna main, and the homemade tiramisu finish. We were oohing and eyeing over all of it. We also had the primitivo and the Chianti alongside, and both were excellent choices as well. The owner was also our waiter, and also occasional delivery guy, and was working his butt off the entire time. But still made time to chat us up, and tell us a bit about his journey to becoming a restaurant owner during a pandemic.
Highly recommend this place. They deliver, are on grubhub, and dine in was a delight. Will...
Read moreIt's about time we checked out this charming Italian place that we drive by every week. Just down the street from home, it's exciting to know there's a delicious, locally owned and affordable Italian joint to scratch that itch for some rich pasta, yummy dessert, with friendly service. My husband had the chicken gorgonzola. It was creamy and cheesy with a subtle gorgonzola flavor. The grilled veggies were a perfect accompaniment and the garlic bread was crispy and soft. I had the pesto penne with shrimp. It was salty and rich, I almost licked the plate clean. The gentleman serving us was prompt and attentive. The ambiance on their enclosed patio was perfectly cozy. If I wasn't so stuffed by the generous portions, I would have stayed longer, sipping wine and enjoying the warm,...
