Been here quite a lot so far and wanted to wait before I decided to leave a review. After many visits, it’s sad to say I am severely underwhelmed with this Chipotle.
All staff but one gentleman(normally at the register) act like they don’t want to be there nor care about giving good customer service. Manager, which I am assuming it was due to the shouting of orders/breaks while people are trying to place their orders, always seems beyond stressed.
The quality of food seems very below standard for chipotle. Guac always looks insanely old, fajitas are mainly just green peppers, pretty sure I’ve seen a different type of lettuce every time I’ve walked in and lastly they never have any of their special drinks, always out or not even on the counter. The portions are way small, I ask for extra rice/fajitas every time and always get below a single portion.
The last straw for me was this week, my order was completely wrong for pick up. I am a vegetarian and the bowl I was given had steak in it. Good news is I am vegetarian by choice so there was no health hazard for me. Once noticed, which was only cause I started chewing on meat, I went inside to get it made right. At the counter the person at the register was very nice but did something I’m pretty sure is a health code violation, they out on gloves, took a customer card, then proceeded to help me and make my order with those same gloves on. I was immediately grossed out. Me being hungry and not wanting to unconvinced them but myself more, I took the food and left. I did not eat it and ended up getting food somewhere else.
My closing thoughts, you all need to provide better training for not only your staff but your management. Seems this was rushed open and not correctly prepared from Corporate down the chain. You’ve set up this store for failure and lack of support, clearly. For the size of the company, you must have resources to provide management so they can better support their staff and hire more like minded people. I will be taking a break from this location but will re-visit in the future with the hope you’ve taken all the feedback of these reviews and improved...
Read moreAs a top dasher, this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant asked for the name of my customer many times, never providing an update. I had waited 26 before my impatience got the better of me and I asked for an answer for what was taking so long. The cashier went back and spoke with the line cooks and came back stating that they had run out of specific ingredients and had no idea of when those ingredients would be available. The delivery queue was severely backed up and the line inside was decently sized. All of the focus was on the line and not on delivery at all. Kitchen staff was moving at a snails pace and the delivery line was laughing and standing around at times. Regular customers waited well over 15 minutes for their in store pick ups and another dasher had been waiting longer than me. He only spoke Spanish and no one in the restaurant was able to speak with him to let him know the situation not attempted to accommodate him in anyway. I had to attempt with the little Spanish I could speak to explain the situation with his order. I had to unassign an order eventually and lost plenty of money and opportunity for future orders over this service. I usually offer plenty of grace and understanding in these situations but this was clearly just careless on the crew there. I will be reaching out to corporate Chipotle and raising the concern with...
Read moreI should have listened to the reviews. I had the worst burrito ever here. Chipotle is normally great but something is wrong with this location, and you can tell based on how many others have had 1 star experiences. Management do you even care? I ordered online for pickup at the store. My burrito was like 80% rice and had maybe a few pieces of chicken in it total, which were nasty and looked a uncooked/pink in some places. There were maybe 3 pieces of lettuce total but they put them way at the bottom of the burrito (same with the guac) so I didn't taste them til the end. Salsa was at the bottom half of the burrito so the first half my burrito was just like white rice and tortilla basically. I understand this is a hard job and I've worked a burrito line in a food court before so I get it, but honestly I never produced burritos this bad or careless before. Don't come here! They will skimp you on the toppings and you'll get a terrible burrito. Do you skimp people more with pickup orders since we can't see what few toppings you're adding? I hope management actually listens to reviews and makes changes at some point. I don't know if it's lack of training or them being cheap and leading this behavior. Sometimes things like this start from the top and trickle down. The only saving grace is the girl who handed my my pickup...
