Panda Express — Restaurant in Seattle

I mean obviously it’s fast food so it’s mediocre but they are cooking it pretty well and keeping things fresh but as a vegetarian I’m so disappointed the only other Panda I know of that has the veggie meat option is the Crown Hill QFC one. I really thought this one would have the option. So food is down a couple notches. Then there’s the couple of extremely pedantic and difficult to communicate with workers who don’t know how to create or I guess categorize a meal of chow mein and super greens so will end up just not making it for you. I would probably come here again on behalf of my meat eating family but not after the bad service I got today — once we got home we realized one of my meat eater family members plates got swapped with a different order, and I never got my veggie order. Went back and they seemed incredulous that I didn’t bring the plate that was wrong back, then they said that I didn’t get my veggie bowl cause I said I didn’t want it (I don’t remember that and obviously I did want it because I came back for it). Eventually they gave me what I wanted but the person was seriously such a pain and with the fake customer service smile and sentiments… ugh. Anyways… it’s cheap and fast so I guess you get what...

I was hoping this new store would have better food than other stores as it has many good reviews, but nope, same bad food, just in a new store. It is very clean and well run. I just don't understand how anyone can think it is good American Chinese Food. I got the Family Meal which was fried rice, chow mein and 3 entrees just to try different things. As with all Panda Express restaurants, the fried rice was colorless and flavorless, we threw it away. Chow mein was a notch above the flavorless rice, but still not good. Chicken dishes are just frozen, then fried, chunks of mostly breading with bad sauces. Broccoli Beef was 75% broccoli, but at least had some flavor. I had hoped the quality of food had been improved since the last time I tried a Panda Express at a mall or airport, but it had not. Service was excellent and fast. Was a lil noisy at the time we were there but not too loud you can still talk and everything seemed super clean. The only issue is the food unfortunately. I don't eat out often but panda express is 1 of my guilty pleasure meals I choose to spend a lil money on from time to time we usually travel to the burien location on 1st Ave and the food is always super flavorful and cooked perfectly. This new location is much closer so also more convenient unfortunately this was probably the most bland meal I've eaten in a very long time.
