For some reason every 9 months or so I forget how I felt the last time I ordered a one of their burgers or sandwiches, french fries, a shake two plain hamburger patties on the side for my dog for $25 and change ($30 w/tip) and from the time they hand me my food the meal is one disappointment after another; beginning with what I am guessing is probably a 16-20oz shake for $6 (that does taste great though). And I do enjoy their French fries well my dog and I walk home (the shake, FF, & burger patties are the reason why I still give them 3 stars). However, like a bad rerun, every time we get home and after I cut the patties up for my dog (which she devours); I get to my sandwich (which was a turkey b.l.t. last night) and I instantly recall why--even tho I get take out 4+ times per week and walk by this establishment at least one (and often 3 or 4) time/s each day--there's is always such a long time in between my visits: it's their food... specifically every burger or sandwich that I have tried. Each one finding its to my dog's bowl with whatever she doesn't finish being added to my compost.

Specifically my issues last night were that my pblt came on a buttered hamburger bun that was not actually even toasted I don't know if that would help or not, definitely in the wrong kind of lettuce (I'm not an expert on which type would be the best, but it was definitely not the one that they used), and what I believe were round Carl Budding turkey slices. I've never seen a restaurant use that kind of turkey on a sandwich, & it never even crossed my mind that a BLT would be on a hamburger bun. I will definitely see that the bacon was very good though.

I feel bad for not taking photos of the sandwich, however, for proof that I was there last night I submit a screenshot of the charge from my...

Wallingford location. Good food, bad service. I've been here 3 times and only had one satisfactory visit. The first time, I ordered a BLT and fries which was about 12 dollars and I paid in cash expecting change. They did not give me change, assuming without asking that I was tipping them twenty five percent. Tips are for good service and should not be assumed. I was annoyed and had to ask them to get my change back. The second time went fine, I ordered parmesan fries and they were delicious. The third time, I decided to try preordering since the place is busy at lunch. I placed an order for 12:15 a day ahead, which was allowed on their website. When I got there, they had not made my order. At about 12:25 I asked them about it and the man at the counter claimed he did not get my online order for today and that the order I'd placed would be due in fifteen hours. Is this a joke? I asked him why and he didn't know. Then he decided that he had just forgotten to print it! It took at least another ten minutes for them to make my order. The food was again good, but overall I was super unsatisfied with the customer service. Do not order online or pay in cash, or there might...

Beware the menu prices listed online are incorrect. We decided to get breakfast here as it’s right across the street from our hotel. We got there at 9:10am and even though they open at 9am, all the doors were locked. Someone eventually let us in and said they were open. They have their menus on TV screens, none of which were turned on when we walked in, so he handed us a paper menu instead. After ordering and paying I realized that I was overcharged $4 based on the menu prices. When we questioned it, he said they just raised the prices and gave me back $2 in cash. I suppose I appreciated the gesture but he had a chance to make it right and didn’t. I didn’t care about the missing $2 but the higher prices are not listed anywhere and it makes me wonder if we were just overcharged because he saw that we’re tourists. Our bacon egg and cheese and breakfast burrito tasted good and it’s the only reason I still gave three stars, but charging over $10 each for these items is ridiculous, especially when your menu doesn’t even match what...

I took my order to go, but while I was in the restaurant, and from what I could tell, it was a nice atmosphere. I would say the food was fairly basic. Nothing crazy or unique about it. I do like the specific style of fries that they sell, but I wouldn’t say it’s my personal favorite. I find that that style tends to get boring and tiring to eat over time. The burgers are cooked well done, which isn’t my favorite because it ends up having a slight “rubbery texture”. Pricing, I’d say a little bit too high for the quality. For my single order it was about $12, which I think is a little steep. I’d say if it were $10 I’d have no complaints. I just don’t feel like I completely got what I paid for. I did really like their, what I’m assuming is, made in house sauces. Very unique and tasty. There’s nothing special or unique about 206 Burger Co. So if you’re in Seattle and looking for a unique burger this is not your winner. I don’t mean to bag on the restaurant. I’d still say all in all still a good spot!
