Doce! What can I say… it’s definitely one of the best donut shops in Seattle! With its Latin American-inspired flavors and background, it truly stands out as a must-visit. The fact that they have two locations, one in Wallingford and the other in SLU is a testament to Seattle’s need for these donuts. Walking through your experience in the shop… you’re welcomed by bright smiles. You can tell the team is passionate and proud of their donuts, as it shows in the presentation of each. It’s really hard to go wrong with selecting the perfect donut, but there is definitely something for everybody! Usually, I like getting a plain glazed as a “control” test if their dough is good. And no doubt, their OG serves that purpose well. With a fluffy interior and a glaze that complements it with just the right touch of sweetness, you know that you’re in for a good time with the rest of these. Another good staple for me is the guava con queso as well as the passion fruit creme brûlée… but I do admit that the mango vanilla has been quite the contender lately. Just thinking about their donuts makes me crave one really bad! Might just have to make...
Read moreI had this place on my list of food journeys, and it didn’t disappoint whatsoever. I ended up taking home a box of four which included their tres leches, Mexican hot chocolate, crème brûlée passion fruit, and tiramisu donut flavors. Each flavor met the mark in fitting the description and also was of top quality. When it comes to donuts some places feel very bland in their flavor and this place was a pleasant exception. As a sweets enthusiast I was happy that tres leches was brought to life in donut form, and I’m still not sure how they recreated the magic of the authentic tres leches cake. The tiramisu which is one of my favorite Italian desserts, had a very reminiscent taste of the dessert which is hard to do. If your looking for donuts of couture presentation, quality, and taste transportation. Then this Latin based donut shop is one of the best places to stop by...
Read moreFiance ordered from their uber eats page for a coffee and donut, was told via uber the charge was $15 total. She hit accept and then was immediately told that the coffee was going to be coming from somewhere else and that her $15 order at the donut shop became $35 and then charged an extra $15 from the separate coffee place. Canceled both orders immediately and got charged $10 from this place for an order preparation fee. Stupid policy considering they are premade donuts that arent made to order. No joke, filthy, and disgusting business practice. And in response to the Owner's reply to my review. No, we did not hit the "Bundle Order" option. She ordered a coffee off of this store's page, then it processed it through two locations. So unless the owner wants to handle their messed up Uber eats shop, do not order from...
