Two words: NO PARKING! I tried to visit the Fremont Branch one Tuesday morning when sewer repair work caused closure of the Greenlake Branch (which provides ample parking btw). I can only assume that the Fremont Branch provides the most amazing experience one could ever imagine at a library, because I never saw the inside of the place after endlessly driving around in search of the nonexistent street parking (causing my car to nearly overheat in the process) and refusing to pay $7 at the little pay lot across the street. "Libraries for all"?...

The best library ever. The outside of the building is lovely, the interior is cozy and beautiful, there are lots of materials to choose from, and the librarians are super helpful - especially the woman at the front desk. She's always patiently answered any questions I've asked about downloading library materials and where things are located and what events are going on. Also, the Wi-Fi is wicked fast!
