*Disclaimer: my evals of "coffee shops" are as a tea drinker who uses the environments for working during some week days.
TL:DR: 4* for Atmos, 3* for tea/food/coffee
The Tea: Living Room uses a really generic standard bag called Rituals Tea which is a sub-product line of USFoods corporation. I am disappointed in their choice of brand and wish they'd use a local PNW distributor, etc. But the flavor of the English Breakfast gets the job done and is slightly better tasting than Stash. But I would encourage the owners to choose a more local or higher end brand of tea bag.
Atmos: Cute, modern, upbeat vibe/music. Tall ceilings in concrete space under an apartment complex, so bright and open feels. Temp was perfect at first but got cold after an hour and had to put my coat on.
Coffee: Victrola ~ my co-work companion said the Americano was just OK.
Food: my co-work companion prefers when a place has good food, but this place is sub-par in the food area (like the tea). I didn't try the food since it didn't seem worth the calories 😅
Internet: Good strong wifi, but confusing. They gave my friend a login code ticket valid for 4 hours, but they didn't give me one (and we ordered separate arrival times). My friend laptop was able to bring up the login page, but mine did not. My laptop was able to mysteriously connect to the Internet regardless. Not intuitive but works for now.
Parking: neighborhood street (Free) a block or two...

Nadeen is an exceptional barista. My drink was delicious. She prepared all food and drinks efficiently and promptly despite having lots of customers and her being the solo barista. She disinfected each table quickly after customers left. She had such a warm and friendly manner towards all customers. She even cleared my table despite it being a self-service cleanup. On top of that, she went up to each customer and asked each one of us how are food and drinks were. She’s probably the best, most attentive, and hospitable barista I’ve observed at my time spent at multiple cafes. I was thoroughly impressed in my passive observation of her. I wish all food service employees were as proactive, helpful, and friendly as her. Definitely...
Read moreFinally a nice comfortable coffee shop in the North end of Seattle within walking distance. I had the Darjeeling tea and a pain au chocolat. Both were great. They get a lot of customers from the cubix apartments overhead, and the occasional drug addict nodding off, but hey, they're right off Aurora, and I'm used to it. I only hope word doesn't get out that it's a warm place to stay and squeeze out the other customers. Meanwhile, I'm sipping my tea, eating my croissant and reading my book after I put this phone down. Definitely worth...
